"I saw this app with a few friends and we jokingly clicked 'buy' thinking it was a joke, to see what would happen.... THIS IS NO JOKE...DO NOT BUY THIS APP AND APPLE PLEASE REMOVE THIS FROM THE APP STORE,"
but you have to agree with apple for yanking it..
No you don't, if the app's description is accurate (i.e. no fraud is being committed) then why should I not be able to purchase it?
I've heard you get an angry phone call above 100gb and have kept track of my usage via NetLimiter to stay in or around that number, looks like its time to get seeding!
When I was a kid a Quickie was something completely different, and they were readily available at BU, you'd get laughed out of the room and no one would believe you if you said you were going to get one at MIT.
As I said, I don't think that we should allow a growing behemoth like Google to just wantonly buy companies and technologies without considering the risks to a free marketplace. And the limitations on growth would be set by the government, there for you must have a different definition of "free market" than the rest of us.
As an earlier poster pointed out I found the caveman tattoo bit about destruction quite funny, was also shocked to hear that "Happy birthday to you" is still under copyright, according to wiki it will expire in 2030 in the United States.
I'd suggest that everyone click this link to an image that was commented out in the HTML source, as the hits to their server log will surely make them scratch their heads.

I'd presume the guise they use to get your credit card info is for payment for the shipping and handling of the "free" first disc, then they charge that card for additional discs.
A worth while quote for those asking why the government doesn't do more to lower gas prices, they are part of the reason the prices are so high in the first place.
I remember being assigned a project on the Kennedy Assassination freshman year in high school, you wouldn't believe what a pain in the ass it was trying to locate resources on the topic with Bess on our school's network. Eventually the librarian removed Bess for the rest of the class period as she was so frustrated with hearing complaints. Glad to see that to this day people still think protecting a minority from "harmful sites" is more important than the productivity of the majority.
Welcome to satellite radios version of war driving.;)
One of my friends has XM and I Sirius, so on lunch we'll take turns searching for obsecure one-hit wonders, etc. and flip our dials to the other's service.
It doesn't hurt half as much as it used to after 2004. Recreations of Bucky fucking Dent or Pesky holding the ball in '46 might still hurt a bit though.
Not to mention Stanley didn't even cover first, even if Buckner had fielded it the runner still would have been safe and the inning would have continued with runners on first and third.
Any chance it has the greatest combat mode ever?
