I say, that's ok, we could use a few different sources of funding for ALL technologies. Technology is like many parallel lines, as soon as one strays too far behind, we get jammed waiting for it to catch up.

If they do research in how to clean up nuclear waste (as Madonna is doing of all people, and of all the research you could invest in...!?!) we could have more nuclear power plants going up.
If we had a few BIG companies investing in separate quarters of research...we could gain leap and bounds instead of baby steps.....my 2 cents.

I am a software developer and there are many steps you take for integrity that avoids such things, such as placing a flag in the db as IsDeleted instead of actually deleting the records, and your query would be select * from votes where IsDeleted 1.

As for windows, once your win32.dll has been rooted, then you cant turn around and do the same without reinstalling a whole slew of other things, thereby changing the installation, sometimes breaking patches or updates...

Sometimes, it is also the individual that must be with open eyes to see what is going on. My dogs talk to each other all day long, and on a good day, I can communicate with them as well, without uttering a single word...all about body language.....however, my GF is blind to this, and keeps thinking they are stupid animals.

They are more like the intelligent 2 1/2 year old or 3 year old....that's as smart as they will get.
They can show us some signs of intelligence when they do something surprising, like anticipate what will happen, or remember something having done something just once....but the best is when they figure something out on their own. They would not quite push the box up to the banana hanging on a string (they have no hands per say) but they would figure a way out to cling to the fence and try to climb up to the banana, or maybe even jump from the box (if close enough) to get the banana.

  25. Its the old WB producers on board on What Has Fox Got Against Its Own Sci-Fi Shows? · · Score: 1

Remember when the WB had such big problems with Angel, and used to change the times almost every week for one reason or another. They had all sorts of excuse, but the fan base was there, the viewers tuning in, the ratings , and yet they still wanted to pull the plug on it. David Boreanaz got really upset and left the show because of it (ending Angel all together).

I have never seen a show so undermined by its own creators, and I heard this was not the only instance with the WB, so now I guess after much response from the fans, the producers responsible for these decisions, must have been fired, and are now residing at the FOX network.

They love to stir up sh*t by doing this, and think it makes more free press and headlines, although
Fringe is new and should be given a good push, as Battlestar Galactica needed, and is now doing well. I bet you they keep doing this, and Fringe and the like will get no ratings and they will blame the viewers or the actors or something again.
