I seem to remember the Hampster Dance tune being used on the Disney radio station for a while. Not that I actually listen to that poor excuse for a crappy radio station, though...
You may think paying for HDTV is worth it, but I do not, and I'd rather not be forced to pay for it. See, I don't mind it if it's just an option; you can have your HDTV, and I'll stick with my old TV, but if I have to buy a new TV just to continue watching TV, then why bother at all? I barely watch the crap that is on TV anymore anyway. It's certainly not worth it for me.
If I remember correctly, Netscape, long before the Mozilla web browser, identified itself in the UserAgent string as "Mozilla". So, back when the majority of people used Netscape, other broswers (such as Internet Explorer) identified themselves as "Mozilla compatible".
Clearly, Mozilla is better than Internet Explorer and Internet Explorer is slightly better than Firefox (Recount, please??), but Opera is better than all of the other graphical browsers. Links, however, is apparently the best web browser of all.
Please note that these statistics are completely unscientific, and may be contaminated by the fact that Opera and Links mean other things than web browsers...

I have also seen that happen in IE6, so I don't think it's browser-specific.

I haven't watched TechTV since it was bought out by G4, and, to be honest, I don't intend to start. It was excellent before the takeover, but afterwards, the focus changed, and it became clear that the new management didn't want the "geeks" that watched TechTV. So be it. But don't expect me to watch G4/TechTV anymore.
Oddly, the Java applet on NASA's website shows the asteroid not hitting Earth. Of course, it isn't meant for modeling the asteroid's motion over long periods (as indicated by the disclaimer on the page), so it's basically meaningless.

Exactly. A slashdotting of C&D letters. Send them in Word format to make the slashdotting even more effective.
but they don't buy bad TV on DVD.
You've never met my roommate...
Have you ever been forced to watch several DVDs of "Unsolved Mysteries"? Followed by "Frasier"? And then "Cheers"? And "Golden Girls"?
It's enough to give nightmares for weeks...

If you lie in an advertisement, you should face stiff penalty.
Like, not being able to advertise for a year. That'd be sweet.
A world in which all companies can only advertise once a year? Too good to be true.

Because if you believe enough, God will protect you from those evil computer viruses.
Or something like that.
He's probably referring to XP Home, which by default doesn't have an Admin password, while XP Pro does ask for an Admin password.

I use Linux.
Therefore, I am going to hell.
The problem is that eventually, the gyroscopic stabilizers will wear out, and it will be unable to move.
Not really unable to move, but unable to be controlled.
So, in other words, the target audience, the CEO/CIO/board of directors, is an audience that wants to be blown over with meaningless bullshit.
Just yesterday it was 70F here, while it is normally closer to 0...

Hmmm.... note to self: Find office that uses voice-recognition software. Buy megaphone.

it's not a pyramid scheme (if it were, you could bet it would be shut down by now), it's a multi-level marketing (advertising?) program.
"This is not a pyramid scheme, this is a triangle plan!"
So... that means 42% of the people on the internet from the US are using Windows...
No, it means that 42% of the people running Windows are from the United States.
Yes, but it's sort of a false analogy. You can't get 15 years for speeding.
