to fan the rumors... there was that speech where someone from MS said that Bungie were working on Halo 2 AND 3 simultaneously... if that were true, it might explain the cliffhangers... ABRUPT cliffhangers... as in NO resolution or closure of ANY kind.
also, it wouldnt have to ship at launch. Perhaps it could ship when PS3 launched? Or shortly before?
I couldn't agree more. I stopped buying EA games last year, but I did make 1 exception: Oddworld. Does anyone else find it ironic that Oddworld games are now distributed by a company like EA?
what would the quality be? I don't buy from places like Itunes because of the low low bitrate.
Also, what happens if my hard drive, or whatever I'm using to store the file crashes? With a cd, I can just rip it again. If I have 3000 songs that I have downloaded, and my drive crashes, will I be able to download all of those songs again? I already paid, so why not? After all, what we are paying for is a RIGHT to listen, correct?
And if THAT is the case, that we are not buying cd's, but rather the right to listen to the recording, then why cant I get a replacement for my broken cds?
anyone ever read Demon Haunted World?
great book, ever since I read it I've been wondering about memory myself. It's amazing how easy it is to create false memories that you can't tell are false.
I couldnt agree more... it IS still beta.
Since Microsoft obviously knows windows inside and out better than anyone else (ok, that's debatable), you'd think they would be able to make the most effective antispyware tool out there.
Then again, it IS Microsoft... bloated software, bugs, etc... so who knows.
I was kind of hoping Corin Nemec (Jonas) would rejoin the SG1 team now that Anderson (Oneil) is out off the team...
I never cared for Farscape, so I really dont know what to expect from this guy. Hopefully I wont be too disappointed.
not really... I have much more fun playing NFL 2K5. but to each his own.
this just means that people like me probably wont be buying a football game next year.
Way to go NFL, shun a massive portion of your gaming audience.
should I be laughing at that?
No one burned a gd-rom, but they found way around it, and as I recall the piracy problem with the Dreamcast was particularly bad.
Of course, 54 gigs is a lot more that 1.2 or whatever the gd-rom was.
Then again, one of the release groups was able to release Skies of Arcadia on two discs...
If the game developer doesn't use the full 54 gigs, or uses it mostly for movies, there goes the anti-piracy aspect.
Crap. I just realized you WERE joking, and I just rambled for nothing.
I was thinking that before I saw the movie, and through pretty much all of it. I kept thinking it would be an awesome inspiration for Crimson Skies 2.
I loved this movie, I understood the visual style, but I am not at all familiar with the serials people are talking about... don't even know what they are.
And on another note I actually saw Star Wars: A New Hope for the first time ever last night. 29 years old. Not a bad movie. Far from the best I've ever seen, but it was fun.

wouldnt that be the SAME direction?
I had heard that the new Green Day was amazing, but to be honest, it sounds like everything else.

I was just about to suggest that myself.
Nintendo gets out of the home console hardware market!!! that's one of the rumors I heard, twould be a revolution of sorts...

I was gonna say the same thing... but you beat me to it. and apparently so did the person who posted before you.

will it sit on top of my xbox? I hope the weight of the two wont break my entertainment center.

too bad I no longer care much about Warcraft... and have NEVER cared for RPG's of any sort. Where is Starcraft 2?
I tried that geek test... just when I thought I was a bigger geek than ever... I fail at this... I need to read something.

Godsend was horrible. I have never so eager for a film to just be over as I was when watching this.
