Making Calls with Privacy Guard -- To make a telephone call, you fill out our simple web form with 1) Phone number of party you are calling, 2) A phone number to reach you, and 3) The Caller ID you wish to send. At the click of a button, the system will call you first, then call the party you are attempting to reach. The called party will receive the caller ID that you specified. The system will then bridge the two calls together. This method is private and untraceable.
Given that the method they use to operate requires them to do the calling to both parties, does that mean you can get away with getting free long distance calls?
If lawyers weren't so quick to find holes, and bend laws, we'd have all this cool stuff and more.
They should restrict lawyers to only the QA department. Their attention to details and ability to break what seemingly is good logic (No hot coffee in lap) should definitely improve software, both OSS and proprietory!
Here's the real reason for NASA and their errors, as quoted by Gordon Cooper a former astronaut.
"Well, you're sitting on top of this rocket, about to be flung into the most hostile environement know to man, and you keep thinking, 'Everything here was supplied by the lowest bidder.'"
Phishing schemes and scams are based upon taking advantage of people's ignorance.
Proper education is key to solving this problem. All the techonology in the world isn't going to prevent someone from passing their info to some criminal.
Think about this, this scam could have been conducted for regular brick and mortar bank by having a scam artist walk door to door asking people to update on a paper form their account information. Of course no one will do this because we all know better than to just give our information to a stranger knocking on our door.
The same applies to email. Once people realize this is not an acceptable method to update or pass information, then these scams fall out of favour.
Education of the internet is a must for everyone that uses it. Sort of like financial management education when you get your first credit card, the same should be applied to those getting internet access.
{(Sexual Skills)*(Attractiveness)}/{(Price)*(Price of Medicine)^(Number of STDs)}
According to your formula if the hooker has no STDs, the Price is to the power of 0, and anything to the power of 0 = 1, meaning there is no deteriment, and price is no longer a factor.
Therefore if you insert the Price of the medicine you'll need to buy to control your herpes or crabs, etc, then it is amplified by the number of STDs you get.
Damn I'm SMRT! I should have got a Math degree instead of Human Bio...:(
It's like the whole Star Wars issue won't stay down even though everyone tells it to stay down after a good beating!
My question is after all this, do the DVD box sets come with Version numbers written in fine print? Like Version 0.1, V 0.25, V 0.31 etc etc... Will they ever come out with Version 1.0? Full version!?!?!
Well, my thought is sort of double edged. As good as FireFox is (and it is my only browser), I think it's better for it to remain under the radar.
All the hacks you see to get around IE is only because IE is in the number one spot. It's easier and more economical to write a malicious piece of code to spread on IE than on other browsers with limited distribution.
Makes sense doesn't it? Write one piece of code to infect 80% of users, or write code to infect only 20%, which would make more sense.
I think that if Firefox were to remain just slightly below IE, we would still have a good browser, but without attracting all the bad attention from those who are willing to exploit it.
Say they shove garbage and waste out the airlock towards earth hoping it would burn up on re-entry. I'm pretty sure they aren't tossing fistfuls of shit, rather they are probably in some sort of container.
On the off chance that only the container burns up, and leaves the remaining contents flying towards earth, the last thing I want my family doing is explaining to the insurance company that I died from getting hit with cosmic shit.
That's the basic problem, it is near impossible for technology to solve a human behaviour problem. If we just simply stopped issuing driver's licenses like they were Chiclets, and concentrated on adequate testing and training; then we wouldn't have to think up all these high priced gadgetry which would be ignored by the masses anyway!
There are a lot of stupid people out there, and the bottom line is technology can't save them all.
We are going to have to sacrifice the stupid for the greater good of humanity!
So... what happens when the person you call back does the same thing? Do you only communicate through voice messages?

Well, you can tell Rockstar, but you're going to have a hard time proving he actually got anything from it unless you got a hold of his computer.

Nothing funnier than computer nerds threatening other computer nerds!
But good idea though. I can video tape it and we solve two problems. 1. We get rid of hacks/spam. 2. We profit on the videos!
Sidenote: Wasn't there a video clip with some guy getting his buddy to hit him in the face with a keyboard?
You flood the chat with things like "myg0t pWns u"
And I suppose a WWII game that had Nazi Death Camps for Jews is anti-Semetic?
I guess it would be the same idea as the Monkey Poo coffee beans that are like $600 a kilo.

Please don't sue me, but I made a copy of your device for my own use with my left hand.
I could imagine causing havoc at the local electronic store's TV wall could be fun.
Yeah fun! Until they find out it's you.
Jet engine the size of buttons eh? I can see a whole wack of problems he failed to mention.
1. Explosive power pack. - Nothing like shorting your electronics and causing an explosion, or having one leak in your pants.
2. Turbines. - I wonder what pocket lint would do to clog the fans?
3. Heat. - Think the heat from your laptop video card is hot? Get a load of engine blast!
4. Exhaust. - Enclosed areas like airplanes, cubicles, the air will get stale.
5. Waterproof devices? Fuggit 'bout it.
I could probably go on an on... but I'm sure someone will elaborate.
For the love of God... no more Star Wars...
Let's stop talking about Star Wars while I still think it's still good.
No more changes, no more new edits, no more extra scenes. I just want my Star Wars in plain old vanilla flavour!
Oh, and I think CG is a terrible replacement to actual live models and puppets.

Umm... my formula doesn't make sense... *sigh*, they were probably right when they did not grant me a math degree. :(

Aren't you happy with how the rankings are now?
Pepsi owns 7Up doesn't it?

Isn't this merely an attempt to circumvent the nuclear arms race by a mere technicality?

My elitism doesn't allow me to go there.
