... with AMD Cool'n'Quiet in Windows XP Pro. SP2 even with the latest drivers on my Athlon 64 4600+ (939 dual core) system. It seems like I would get rare random blue screens of deaths (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) when playing videos. One time, I had a corrupted SB Audigy 2 ZS driver and I had to reinstall it. I don't have this problem if I don't use the power management (Cool'n'Quiet).
No one was able to figure out why I get them according to this newsgroup thread. Maybe it is because of all my hardware devices I have in this case (Audigy2 ZS, an old ASUS TV tuner, HDTV tuner card, five drives, etc.).
I have not tried to clean install OS (XP installation has been used since 2002 or so), or try Linux. I will try that later on when I have lots of free time. My older Athlon 64 3200+ (754 single core) has no problems in Debian/Linux with powernow-k7 (Kernel 2.6.22-K7), but it is a simple box (only one PCI card for ethernet card [Intel brand].
Don't store it in the same home/building/area. What if a disaster strike like a fire? Take the backup somewhere else far away. Internet would be good if you can secure the datas. A bank, that you visit, should be safe too.
PhxBlue: MS still posts updates for Office 2000. See http://support.microsoft.com/gp/lifeoffice : "Office 2000 - Microsoft will continue to offer mainstream support for Office 2000 through June 30, 2004. The Office 2000 extended support period will last from July 1, 2004 through July 14, 2009. The latest Office 2000 service pack is required for hotfix support."
Also, my old test machines at work still sees old Office 2000 updates as well. The thing is on Windows 98 SE laptop/notebook, it was working until last month's updates.:(
I posted a newgroup thread about this recently. You can see the conversation on Google Groups. I am going to hold off my purchase unless I see it for really cheap. I am also upset with this bundle.
According to this short news story, Microsoft (MS) announced that instead of patching bugs and improving features of Windows Vista in the next service pack (SP) release, they would just install Windows XP. It was due to customers' demands.
Police don't care. See this recent Broadband/DSL Reports security forum thread about a guy losing his laptop/notebook, trying to see if he can format his HDD remotely since someone was using it online, police not caring, etc.
I remember I using 3Dfx wrapper software to play old games since no one uses 3Dfx cards anymore these days. We need something like this for older NVIDIA cards. Actually do they exist that I don't know about?
I already have thelatest BIOS from http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=downloaddetail&type=bios&maincat_no=1&prod_no=249 ...
:(
I will try clean install when I have time. Reinstalling and reconfiguring hundred of software and games is a pain!

In one of the links, b00b/breasts are shown. Here's an enlarged shot.

On my father's old Toshiba notebook/laptop with Windows 98 SE, his Office 2000 SP3 can no longer go get updates online. You read about in details on: http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.officeupdate/tree/browse_frm/thread/14153ec8030bce52/df5d42d92ec24a2e?rnum=1&q=office+2000+98+SE+genuine+philpi%40earthlink.netANT&_done=%2Fgroup%2Fmicrosoft.public.officeupdate%2Fbrowse_frm%2Fthread%2F14153ec8030bce52%2F760a3397482fbf1b%3Flnk%3Dst%26q%3Doffice%2B2000%2B98%2BSE%2Bgenuine%2Bphilpi%2540earthlink.netANT%26rnum%3D1%26 ... I have not been able to fix it. All this DRM/*GA stuff is CRAP. :(

How is this informative? :P
So, Zantetsuken is too much of a god? [grin]
How about the reality show, Beauty and the Geek? I am enjoying it.
Kernel Panic in its intro.
Meh T-shirt in S2E2. ThinkGeek has the shirt.
EFF poster.
What type of punishments? War?
It could be on other video hosting site like Google Video (no limit I think). YouTube does offer no time length limit if you're a subscriber.
Heh, I dare someone to try that idea first and tell us the results. It won't be me! [grin]

Ahhh. Yeah, I missed and don't recall the old story because I didn't read them due to "Breaks OpenBSD Systrace" title (don't read BSD stories).

Glue? :P
Is there an online video clip of this? That's funny. I didn't find it via video.google.com.
Has anyone actually got DMCA letters/complaints with TV shows OTA? I know they happen for cable/satellite ones. How about OTA?
