So there, they are so paradoxial in thier statements, they think others are closed minded, but when you open thier mind and say:
are we really different to plants?
and they retort 'we have emotions! we have sex'
but surely that was random happenstance of random abiogenesis, and this evolutionary phase is temporary, and plant life may become the higher sentient life on thier plant, oh and how they will kick our asses when they hear about cornflakes and rice krispies.

No I understand, and I have seen this in the field. Little adblock tags on my page. It sucks, use a graphic or stick to my fonts, that is me talking as a power user (someone who wants control).
I see that is works, yes fine, I am not condemning the technology of the solution, but redefining the fact that not having the right fonts isn't a problem (for me).
Anyway, it is a hack, surely the efforts could have been made to foster the liveFonts initiative? Was this badly written? patented? I don't know, but I understood what this was about.

Maybe we're jaded, but we've seen all these other companies leap headlong into 1.0, thinking their product is exactly what they've been dreaming of all their lives, that everything is perfect and hunky-dory - and the next thing you know some vanilla copycat release from Redmond is kicking their butt, the Board is holding emergency meetings and the CEO is on CNBC blathering sweatily about "a new direction" and "getting back to basics."
