    In the future, AllPeers will also have folders to allow public sharing (probably with restrictions to control copyright violations). I also assume they will build chat and VOIP functionality into the application as well.

    I agree. It's not capturing a moment in time like a photo. People have a range of emotions while sitting for a while. Hey.. maybe he told a dirty joke halfway through the painting and that's where the disgust came from.

    This takes me back to the bad old days while working in a phone center for Cross Country Bank. On my last day I told everyone not to sign up for the Visa because the company sucked and the customer service number was long distance.

    I really wanted someone to be listening to that, but I didn't get a response form the mysterious back room. I just hope they heard it on tape.

    It would help to the extent that a calculator prevents errors in math. If the input is wrong or if the answer is 'low battery' a person would have to be there to figure it out.

    This problem does suffer the flaw that, if it is played like normal, the player doesn't really need to know what is said, and will therefore probably ignore it. I believe the whole point of immersion is to make the person *need* to know it, and to provide an environment in which they can do so.

    I agree. The reason immersion motivates is that you have to communicate and you can't use the language you have. Are there games that are more dependant on actually being able to communicate? Fun games, that is.

    They actually gave her money back. That's good right? Sure they took four months, but they did it. She should shut up and stop complaining. They could have just blamed her for it since she really couldn't have proven anything.

    The OJ jury believed a leading forensic scientist when he said the police screwed up. The prosecution did an awful job. I wouldn't say it was ignorance of forensics that set him free.

    Common sense and prejudice still seem to rule. All things are normal in the criminal justice system.

    Scott Peterson was convicted based on circumstantial evidence and just being a bad guy. Forensic evidence did nothing. Prosecutors don't have to worry.

    Who is this? Is that you Michael? He is fit, but note the belly in the Teal'c is a fireman episode as well as the one where he went undercover to the meeting of the system lords. There are others I can't think of, but he is quite the cutie anyway.

    I have a thing for geeks. Note the choice of a geek husband.

    You know she just watches the show for Daniel Jackson. He's geeky and cute and you can hardly notice the episodes where they try to cover up his rather large belly by making him hold a sweater or wear a huge belt. He's dreamy.

    My husband has accepted my crushes on fictional characters.

    Don't worry. Maybe they'll have something more interesting like: Carter has an alien baby. No one was watching x-files anymore when they tried that so it's like a new idea.
