  1. I love your ideas.

Even better; a key stroke combination to associate a number of tabs with the combination.

That is, once entered those tabs load automatically.

2: Have mansions as homes yet obviously do not use all the space

3: Drive Lexus, Mercedes or Lamborghinis, yet a Renault or Chevy could be just as effective

4: Are willing to spend up to US$5,000 on a dinner plate with the likes of the Clintons etc...

Can someone tell me why I only hear this kind of "E. Coli scare" only in developed countries?

  4. Google's "compliance mechanism" in the Google Search (Comparison Shopping) case does not comply with the European Commission's June 2017 Prohibition Decision.

Is there a reason why we would expect those fellas to say anything different or in support of Google? They need to hammer and keep hammering hard till some court smacks them down.

This study simply confirms success at this metric, right?

  6. Google being passive aggressive here, I guess.

This is in the most "wealthy" country in the world! Forget the fact that our debt now exceeds the GDP - at 105% of GDP (at least).

In the meantime, our leaders haven't forgotten how to foment [costly] mayhem abroad. Sad!

  8. Bribery implies illegality. It's not illegal, it's just a failure to care about user privacy when a billion dollars are on the table. Privacy is only for people like Tim Cook, not for people who use his hardware.

This is similar to what lobbyists do with members of the US Congress, where this *is* bribery when one critically looks at it.

Of course fat people eat more.

    Not awlays. Be careful here...

But WHY do some people eat more than others?

Because food is cheaper than ever before...

And why have obesity rates TRIPLED since the 1980s?

See above; plus the increased drinking of sugars and sodas since the 80s.

And why is there a huge disparity in obesity rates between different income levels and different ethnicities?

All of the above; plus, it depends on where these ethnic people are found. Black Africans in East Africa are of the "thin build." Their "cohorts" in the USA for example are primarily obese. Sad but true. Those in Africa consume less to no processed foods, eat generally less and are more physically active.

And why have obesity rates soared in some countries, while barely changing in others?

It's soared in "rich" countries because of the above and the fact that these days, people do not necessarily burn more calories while working. Automation has a lot to do with what we see.

  14. There'a a very simple reason for the trend... on Childhood Obesity Linked To Air Pollution From Vehicles (theguardian.com) · · Score: -1

...Obesity is going up and up, while the air is cleaner than it's ever been for nearly 40 years. Therefore if bad air was thing, you'd expect the exact opposite.

    My two cents:

The subjects are ingesting more calories than their bodies need. That's why they become obese. It's that simple.

Maybe it's the TV, or tablets/smartphones, or game consoles...I am not quite sure. But what I am pretty sure about is this...

Once one takes in more calories than the body needs, the [human] body stores any extra calories as fat. This fat is what we see and draw the conclusion that one is obese.

Let anyone challenge me on this.

It's for this very reason that these employees should quit. I mean...the USA is a "free" country, no? In fact they (the USA), pride themselves with the mantra:
