  5. Switch to Vivaldi. Same Chromium rendering engine, but with sane and configurable tab management. You can have vertical tabs on the left or right, or tabs along the top or bottom of the window if you want.

    Thanks for reminding me of this. Saw it a few years ago and had completely forgotten the name of it. Really good film, definitely worth re-watching.

Whilst I agree the internet is fantastic for connecting with your interests and makes living in a small town tolerable, until we have the metaverse there's still no replacement for living in a city that fits you. I grew up in a small town about an hour away from London, England with nothing to do and nobody that shared my interests close by. The internet made it just barely tolerable, but it's not the same as being able to share your interests with people who live a few minutes walk away and connecting with people face-to-face. For instance you have the opportunity of going to actually see those artists you like play gigs live in the flesh.

    Thanks for the recommendation. I've read some of Ross Jeffries' (another pickup artist) work and seen one of his video lectures and was left feeling rather ambivalent. On the one hand he doles out some sound advice, and I managed to get laid a few weeks after putting some of it into practice. On the other hand some of the stuff he suggests is downright creepy and manipulative.

    I've no problem making friends, male or female but when it comes to romance I probably come off as rather awkward and I end up psyching myself out.
