You sure? One of the great things about NetHack is that you have all the time you want before doing anything. Fall down a hole and get surrounded by 'H's, take a break, read up on what you can do, decide the best way to continue. None of this "I must act as soon as possible" stuff.
It doesn't work because the switch is emacs -nw. Either set an alias, install emacs-nox if you have it, or start emacs with an empty $DISPLAY variable.
I use the Windows key (aka 'mod4Mask') to control my tiling window manager. mod-number switches to workspace whatever, mod-h and mod-l resize windows, mod-a opens a terminal, mod-p opens program launcher. It's so much more productive, and I don't have to lose my Alt key to anything. Also, no mouse!
Most other languages rely on fairly heavy web frameworks, which gain a lot of power at the expense of a huge jump in complexity. With a PHP project, I can choose my own level of complexity.
Have you tried using Ruby, Perl or Python without one of their great big frameworks? You can still write simple PHP-like code in a language that doesn't suck.
When you're dualing (dueling?) key chords, you just keep the modifier key held down. That is, C-x-f, where you hold down Control all the time. If you use sticky-keys, you have to type C x C f, and I find that my hand's over the Control key most of the time anyway.
There's always Escape -> Meta. And putting the control key in the right place, too.
Does anyone know what the sentence would be if she actually attacked one of the kids? I'm guessing even that would be a lot less.

Speaking of which, who decided that vi would use hjkl instead of jkl;?
The letters "hjkl" are in that order more often than "jkl;" are - a German keyboard has "jklö" instead, for example. And you know that thing vi has about being consistent.
My laptop doesn't fit in my pocket. My phone does.
Not only do I want my computer to fucking work, I want it to continue fucking working no matter what anyone else does.
I don't care why Apple sells computers.
If you can't understand that, then you're an idiot. Stop assuming everyone uses computers the same way you do.

No, that's just the air coming out of his wife.
Is there a difference between "managed code" and "interpreted code"? They seem like two words for the same thing.

That's tricky to do when it's a trackpad, though.
But if you turn it upsidedown, swap the letters round...
I guess Itchy had the right idea...
/* What does 0 mean? What if my operating system returns 11 for success? */
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
int main()
{
puts("Hello, World!");
return EXIT_SUCCESS;
}

It's been done ;_;
77% perhaps?
Does doing that really help?

Maybe it was liquid tinfoil.
Dude, how the hell can you misspell "qwerty"?
Didn't you read the story? Go after the creators of Microsoft products, not the users (:
Shouldn't that be 664, then?
It's only SUSE that is the green Linux. Fedora is blue and Ubuntu is brown...
I remember having sex with foocubi then killing them and taking my gold back in NetHack. Does that count?

When something's in "beta" for over two years now, it becomes less of a product status and more of an excuse.
