    Would there have to be a special election?
    Would Bush/Cheney stay in office until ....?

    The Speaker becomes President only a sitting President and VP are taken out?

    Is this documented anywhere?

    BTW, my question in no way hopes that such an event occur.

    "ignoring the constitution which is the problem." is just one problem. Lobbyists have a greater influence than the voters. Politicians treat getting reelected as a higher priority than their commitment to the voters.

    We need term limits and campaign contributions should be anonymous or publicly financed.

    I would assume that these algorithms are equally adept, with minor tweaking, at identifying pretty much anything that a human could. I'm sure the British and Chinese governments are already planning to deploy said software in the near future.

    No doubt. Insurance companies are not charities. They answer to the stock holders. If people have medical problems due to no fault of their own then the government should pick up the slack. For those with problems due to self abuse(putting crap in your body, not exercising, trying to be the skateboard faceplant king, etc) I say you're on your own.
