I'm sure most ppl are glad this is over. Let's hope that both sides can come together and work to fix the things that are wrong with this nation and regain repect for each other.
I think the hate from this election hit all time highs. This country really needs to bong over the next four years. No gloathing and no whining.
While I can't say I hated any of teh previous two LoTR movies, I certainly don't subscribe to the hype that everyone else seems to think they are the best thing since sliced bread.
Personally I loved the last Matrix movie. I don't exactly know what was so disapointing to *everyone*. The story was good, the dialog was above average, the action was amazingly intense. I think perhaps the loss of the actress that played the oracle was felt because the replacement didn't 'grab you' the same way the orginal one did, in terms of making you care.
Beyond that I left the Matrix movie happy and impressed. When I left the LoTR movies my butt hurt and I was just happy to be finnaly getting out of there.
I feel like the only human that was not oeverly impressed with LOTR... in (almost) any respect (minus the fight scenes, those were cool).
The special effects were not all that special to me, it's not like they were bad, but I certainly didn't think they were any better than movies from the last couple years.
Probably the worse part of the film to me was the story, it just wasn't that great. No I didn't read the book and after seeing the movie I'm certainly glad that I haven't because that story was basically boring. There were even parts (like that elf chick towards the end) that didn't need to even be there. Anyway, I give the film a 2.5 out of 5.
Here in Omaha we have COX, and for the most part I have to say their service has been pretty good. @home never meant bad things to me like it has in other areas. I'm pretty sure there won't be an issue here this friday, and for that I'm truely thankful.:-)
hmmm, I have cox@home in nebraska, I think its part of exicte@home and I have nothing but good things to say about them and their customer service in the 2yrs I've had the service
I love how parents can never take responsability for anything these says, and worse of all the pointing of fingers is really getting tired.
Would be nice if parents would be PARENTS, I don' have a problem with making the purchase of games limited by age groups, as parents need at least a little help in that respect, but if this continues to the point where games are outlawed, etc, well that would be the end of what makes this country great! (see 1st Amendment)
Disclaimer; I've never liked Apple, but the more competion M$ sees the better... ...but really, they are just going to piss more ppl off by doing this. What harm does it do?.... Obviously the ppl using the theme with an Apple logo are doing so cause they like Apple?... now Apple tells them no!? As a BeOS user, if suddenly Be says I can't use any Be logos while I'm in winblows... that would piss me off
I think there is defintly a large amount of ppl in this community that have much love for Linux, and a lot of hate for other things like, MS. Now this hate of say, MS is common place so they inadvertantly turn it towards the next big thing, ReadHat. I don't think its knowingly, but how could U "hate" a company that has done so much for the community, and is the best (IMO) way to get Linux into the mainstream!
You are the idoit... the dude is just expressing an opinion... if you like to be a hermit, fine... but some of us (a lot actualy) enojoy to do some other things once in a while.. U ever try SEX?.. its not bad, might help ya out in your views of the world

Amen brother! You speak the truth!
Seriously... I was so geeked for Episode 1 that I didn't realize it sucked until after seeing that P.O.S. that was Episode 2.
Lucas is just another BAD director now, and even worse writer.
I wouldn't care execpt that the story is still actually pretty good. The delivery is just horrid.

I just watched the TTT trailer and I must say, I just can't get excited about any of the LotR movies...
;-)
my question, why am I in such a minority here?
Maxtrix 2/3 on the other hand...

Excelent way to describe the show. There has never been ANYTHING on TV that can even touch B5, and I'm talking everything not just sci-fi shows.
Invis man is a show I've watched sine it first came on the air, and you are right it is an EXCELENT show!
tim burton is simply the worst directory there is... thats what i've preached for years and simply wont bother wasting 7bux on this moive
I was pretty excited about this game, but those screenshots dont look all that great

sorry... but a friend of mine saw this in a pre-view and says its only 'OK'
that is what I was worried about... seems like the bigger the budget (usually) the more likely the movie sux
