  1. It is pretty obvious who they are on Air Marshals Place Innocents on Secret Watch List · · Score: 1

I flew from Burbank to Atlanta, and the guy who sat next to me was either an Air Marshall, or one roughneck (buff/scrappy) lookin' blue collar business man, wearing blue jeans, a t-shirt, and harley-style shit-kicker boots.

There was no way that the guy could afford 1st class. He also ate his food as if it were his daily meal. Maybe the guy travels a lot, but probability leans towards the Air Marshall conclusion.

He even looked like one of the guys on the discovery channel show about Air Marshalls, it was pretty obvious.

I took photos of some clouds too, so now I'm probably on that list. *weaksauce*

As someone who has been wrongfully accussed of copyright infrindgement (of my own copyrighten material), I think people like the RIAA and MPAA are not designed to prevent piracy, as they are clearly losing that battle, but rather to continue the suppression of independent artists and production (aka: competition).

I've heard case after case of people (I know) getting food poisoning from their Salmon, and/or Chicken. I even remember a recall of quacolmole due to some bacterial fungus, about 2 years ago.

    'server stuff'?

uhh... What kind of server stuff?

This is why Marketing people should not write the segment that is targeting developers. Developers are obviously a lot smarter than the average users you're trying to sell this service too, so it's rather insulting.

I dropped out of high school in 11th grade, and began learning computer graphics and digital audio engineering in a vocational community college program, which I also never completed.

The reason I could not complete these classes, was due to the fact that I couldn't afford to goto school AND support myself AMD my mother. I literally had to support myself and my mother from the time I was 17, until I was 25. It was horrible! Luckily, I was able to use my PEL grant from community college to get myself a decent computer (celeron 300a) back then, and was able to acquire a great amount of skills and experience, thanks to some really smart and talented friends on IRC.

I call it: Better learning through IRC.

When I wanted to learn a new programming language, I could easily find someone on IRC to help get me pointed in the right direction, until I eventually learned enough to walk on my own. I have to thank those IRC characters for helping push me into a job, where as everyone else around me was pushing me into the gutter.

There is a lot to be said about Open Source Learning, and internet-based home/self education, and I owe it (and them) a lot of thanks.

This is not the fault of telecommuting, although tyranical bosses who hate telecommutors will blame telecommuting (so they can chain you to your cubicle and bark orders and breath down your neck), when the reality is... accountability in the IT/Network Security dept.

I telecommute from around the world and work directly off machines via SSH, so even if my laptop is stolen, nothing confidential or work-related can be compromised.

Of coarse, if you're IT/Network security policies allow telecommuters to actually work ON their own hd's, then that is your fault for having a flawed IT/Network security policy.

Either way, this is FUD for anti-telecommutism.
