Maybe, maybe not. You can't say for sure.

It would also cannibalise other Mac laptops, so they would lose quite a bit as well. You guys always seem to forget that.

It would also mean more support calls to Apple, more genius visits, more unhappy people. How do you put a price on that.

Try to look at the big picture for once.

I have owned lots of latops, have 2 brand new ones from work, a hp and a dell. Not the cheapest of the lot, not the most expensive. I would put my mac up against those machines, any day and do. They often dont' sleep properly, and they take ONE minute to sleep when they do, whereas my mac sleeps in less than a second, wakes up in a second to.

I pay extra for that, and a 1000 other things that Apple have done to make working with computers a pleasure again.

This is a good thing in some way, it means you can view pages without having to have internet access. It is good for caching pages as well.

  6. Re:screw that on For September, Book-Related Apps Overtook Games On iPhone · · Score: 1

Yes, but as I said before, Apple screwed up searching, so if you search for a particular book, your multi book app will not come up.

Anyway, you can delete if from your iphone, you still have it on itunes, and you can add it back at anytime.

  7. Re:What's the correlation? on For September, Book-Related Apps Overtook Games On iPhone · · Score: 1

That is not the problem. The problem is that Apple doesn't allow good searching anymore, it is restricted to keywords that can't exceed 100 characters in total.

So when people search for a particular book, which most people do, nothing will be returned for that search. So people had to add in individual books to get that market.

All very well calling them spammers, which they may be, but Apple made this problem worse by restricting searches.

Wrong. You are thinking of the earliest versions of TCP. There is a lot better congestion management controls in recent TCP implementation stacks (recent = 90s).

What this does is regulate bit torrent traffic only. So while TCP will cut down all your traffic, this will cut down bit torrent at the first signs of danger, before it gets to TCP throttling.
