    For some reason this sounds to me like one of those situations where we say to ourselves, "What could happen if we cede control of the internet's technical management to the global community?" Then, six months, or a few years down the road, we look back and say "Ah ... that's what could happen; wish we hadn't done that."

    I fear our police, FBI, NSA, CIA, TSA, ATF, ICE, etc more than criminals these days, and by a decent margin.

    The NSA and CIA are not police, they are part of the DoD, not the DoJ.

    FUCK THAT!!! I bought the phone and I pay heavily for the service. I should absolutely NOT be required to pay even more money not to be annoyed or spied upon. Just another example of the rich getting richer off of hardworking Americans' backs.

    I actually caught the license plate of the truck that broke my last windshield. I gave it to my insurance company, and they acted like I had given them a futon. They had no idea why I was doing it, and couldn't care less about the information.

    I don't watch a television show to power through it so I can get on to the next task in my life. I watch a television show to slow down and relax for a while. How sad is it that people feel this way. Life is getting too busy and full as it is without trying to fast-forward your leisure time.

  19. The only reason you still have your guns is that they know pretty well that it's not even offering the pretense of you being able to defend against your government's whims.

    If you get enough people together with assault rifles then defending against the army of a corrupt government can be extremely effective.

    A large increase in traffic volume in a residential neighborhood plus the fact that many people drive too fast/distracted/erratically/etc. means way more chances of people (especially children) being hit by a car. I am all for keeping detouring traffic out of the residential neighborhoods.

    0.4 degrees Celcius = 32.72 degrees Farenheight. I would say that is a pretty big change.
