It's usually the flaws that arent found and that are breached that lead to disaster. So a year back, when IE had more security issues than Firefox, it was actually Firefox which would more probably lead to disaster?
The job was just too slack, and it showed with management who would take our entire team out to Hooters resturant, come back 2 or 3 hours later drunk off their asses. The boss would invite me to go with them, but I really dont like getting drunk in the early afternoon. We had mini-fridges in the lab and occasionally people would start drinking at noon.
No wonder "Microsoft employees are critical of their employers". Who would really want a job like that?
By the way, in an unrelated question, what's was the email id of the hiring manager?
If you borrow books or video from the library, are you allowed to make a copy to keep.
How is this content protection different? The chap who owns the TV show doesn't want you to copy it for keeps. It's his show & he decides whether it can be copied or not & how long the copy can be kept.
Does CNET really think that Mozilla group is going to ignore it? Maybe the Mozilla group already knows about it for many many months but because the bug is tagged as "Security-Sensitive", nobody else knows about it. Didn't that happen with a few security bugs in Mozilla?
"Brewing your pot as you type that that you are Brewing your pot as you type" would be more appropriate - since your post didn't contain anything else.
How well does Open Office 2.0 work in Terminal Services?
Haven't tried it, but is there a reason to doubt that it will work well in terminal services? Are there many programs which work fine otherwise, but have a problem in TS?
If you're increasing life expectancy 50%, it seems like decreased fertility would be a benefit, not a drawback. You don't want to cause a population boom.
And you also don't want to see 70 year olds becoming pregant or getting people pregnant.
1. Sell products with defective batteries
2.a. Sell replacement batteries at a huge markup
b. Lose lawsuit & send coupons which help sell more stuff.
3. Profit twice.
Lots of other companies send out 50 bucks off coupons by mail even when aren't involved in lawsuits. My neighbourhood grocery sends out 10/20 bucks off coupons once in a while.

Firefox also follows the same method.
Several of the bugs are marked hidden.

I have a XP machine, a Windows Server & a Mac Mini on my desk - I don't see how exactly the Mac interface is better.
I find the Windows Interface better because I am more used to it. I am sure someone who is more used to the Mac will find that interface better.

Your arm swing is its arm swing.
Does this mean that the next generation of game playing geeks will have well toned muscular arms?

I don't see anything unfair in this.
Anybody remember Informix vs Oracle fights./ new0326b.htm

Oracle then went ahead & used all their muscle to crush Informix.
I am going to repost all the +5 modded comments
from here onto this topic.
What does that mean? ...!?
What's o_O & what's
BTW, why is it necessary that so many bug reports be hidden?
It's called Security by Obscurity.
You can download a fix here

This is a good time for slashdot's OSS cheerleaders
to start celebrations about how fast this bug is going to be fixed & how great Open Source is.
I will admit, there is an occasional breakout hit: The Matrix, Sin City were amazing,
Was the Matrix a comic book or a video game before
it was made into a movie?

It's a self-replicating article virus which ships with some copies of slashdot.

I find the title of this slashdot article rather offensive. I would prefer "New mentally challenged Cow Test on the Horizon?" Editors, take note.

That's actually a decent anf fair settlement
Yup, so it was. It's only unfair if Microsoft settles using coupons for Microsoft products.
That generates a huge amount of hue & cry at slashdot.
