Well, I could have just used my mod points for this, but I'll reply.
Software installation and removal is MUCH easier in Linux. You fire up a GUI program like Synaptic, and you get to choose out of THOUSANDS of programs. You can be sure these programs are not infected with spyware or adware, and on top of that, all of the dependencies are resolved using this GUI program.
Windows is big, it's always going to be big, deal with this fact.
So how come Windows market share is now starting to erode?
How come Mac sales went up 25% in the last year?
How come several businesses and government organisations are switching to Linux?
How come Linux PC's are being offered in shops?
Watch out before you make such a statement. You might have to admit you're incorrect, somewhere in the future.
Companies disappear. That happens even faster in IT, than in other industries.
Well, during your absence, we've gone from being a criminal organisation to being a succesful business. So we're not really that much in to laser-beams anymore.
Wait a minute... Could we make a profit out of those?
... welcome our new life-prolonging overlords!
Did anyone else read this as 'Failing Windows causes damage to Discovery'?
But Debian will only support phones in their next release. Maybe you should use Longhorn :-P
No! This time, it's 'Extend and embrace'!
Imagine a Beow...
Hmm, nevermind.
Why isn't 'Goatse' on that list?

What was that about command line tools?
In Soviet Russia, old South Korean jokes don't funny YOU!
Vi or emacs?
Gnome or KDE?
You converted 45 % of your family to Firefox?
Incorrect. Some people download the browser several times, others download it one time and install it on hundreds of computers.
Also, not all users download it 4 times. I use the update feature (that's not counted with those 50 million).
It's viri, not viruses or virii! Exactly the same way as the family or Linus Torvalds is: the Lini Torvalds!
You could have done 'apt-get install synaptic' and have a graphical installer for thousands of packages ;-)
Sadly, I wish it was an obvious joke, but I've seen far too many comments from people who beleive otherwise :( :-(
I fear you might be correct
XFCE running slow with 256 Mb of memory? What are you smoking?
I run XFCE with 64 Mb RAM and it works perfectly. I won't even consider WinXP with that little RAM.
Yeah, but you only need a virus scanner if you are using windows!!
Yes, thank you for pointing out the obvious joke.
You can use Slackware packages for Vector Linux.
I think it's not all that easy to install OpenOffice.org as X11 application.
It requires some work (according to what I heard).
In other words: it won't be popular for 'Joe Average'.

Well, yeah :-P
Over here at slashdot, things can still be new, AND be a cliché!
Phew, at least we got those out of the way already. Now, let's get some new clichés!
Well, during your absence, we've gone from being a criminal organisation to being a succesful business. So we're not really that much in to laser-beams anymore.

Did the top guys at google just put their finger against their mouth and say: "I will call it... Mini Google!"
Wait, that joke's been done already, about two days ago.
Never mind!
Mirror for the 2038 bug?
I TOTALLY agree!
