  1. Re:Transcript anywhere? on Richard Dreyfuss Reads the Apple EULA · · Score: 1

It is. When he is stating how violations will terminate the contract, he uses a rough German accent. When asking you to pay particular attention to a part he has a very staccato delivery that is quiet and forces you to strain to hear. It is a very good example of method acting and delivery. Unfortunately, without video you really are missing out on the performance.

  7. Yes, Machines do it all on Torn-up Credit Card Apps Not So Safe · · Score: 1

I work in Healthcare, and all our checks are handled by a machine at a bank. It opens the letter, removes the check, figures out how its orientated, and then scans it so it is face forward and right side up, then OCR's anything else and stores it to be reviewed by someone later.

There are exceptions to this though. If it is the stub you send back, it goes to a different path and is scanned into the record for that transaction. HOWEVER, if the item scanned matches enough "Keywords" such as an angry letter, then you run the risk of getting a "Form letter" But the checks are never seen by a person, as the machine processes 6000 letters a minute.... All we see is the transaction come across an interface and match to accounts at our location. So we only see a check in digital form if there is an issue.

They make money, have a good base of people, and offer the best multiplayer on 1 system without falling short. Games are smooth are intriguing. I have no intention of buying a $400-500 system.

My money is going to Nintendo, espically for castlavania, Smash Bros, Mario, Zelda, Golf, Baseball, and all the party games. Rock on Nintendo.

My office still uses typewriters. Records are still very popular to people who want a rich, vibrante music experience, corded phones work when the power is out, and just about anyone can afford a $3-5 phone even if they are poor. AND a fountain pen is considered elegant and very personal when writing to someone in regards to something important.

Have you tried to play Smash Bros on your phone? What? They don't have that since it would require something better to control it? Well hell! Why don't we make a watch with a 7" screen, a dual-shock controller you carry around and a criss-cross watch strap. Playstation can call it the fisking PSX because of the Strap. cool huh?

Mario, Zelda, Kirby (including canvas course), Metroid, punch-out, dragon warrior, duck hunt, superscope 6, smash bros., chronotrigger, wild gunmen, hogan's alley, NOT ZELDA 2 for NES, nintendogs, donkey konga but not 2, piliot wings, and WAY TO MANY TO REMEMBER!
