It is. When he is stating how violations will terminate the contract, he uses a rough German accent. When asking you to pay particular attention to a part he has a very staccato delivery that is quiet and forces you to strain to hear.
It is a very good example of method acting and delivery. Unfortunately, without video you really are missing out on the performance.
Turning it in and then getting it back the next day? Responsible Parenting? Lies!
With no kids myself, I can only offer tech to my 3 nieces as their parents see fit. I think teens is a good age, but as always, it depends on when the child can show responsible behavior. Many College students in my town are not responsible enough to own phones.
They my have just realized that a year was way too long for a free, stable version of Windows.
Next thing you know, they are going to offer to let you share the software with a friend, but only offer 20% of the capabilities. Free copy of Wolfenstein included!*
Our country is unique in the fact that people don't tend to live more than an hour away from their work. This would mean that each trip would be very short, eliminating the benefit of high speed rails.
I would love to see high-speed rail though, if only for long trips. Getting to see other parts of the country in a day rather than 2 or 3 days would energize the travel businesses.
All these people saying "Heh, I hope they find out that only 4 are available." Best Buy doesn't PRE-ORDER! They didn't for the 360 (don't own one) and they have not for the Wii or the PS3. I will walk in Sunday morning without waiting in a long ass line and get my Wii with no hassle.
Read the article about common sense and camping out. oi.
I work in Healthcare, and all our checks are handled by a machine at a bank. It opens the letter, removes the check, figures out how its orientated, and then scans it so it is face forward and right side up, then OCR's anything else and stores it to be reviewed by someone later.
There are exceptions to this though. If it is the stub you send back, it goes to a different path and is scanned into the record for that transaction. HOWEVER, if the item scanned matches enough "Keywords" such as an angry letter, then you run the risk of getting a "Form letter" But the checks are never seen by a person, as the machine processes 6000 letters a minute.... All we see is the transaction come across an interface and match to accounts at our location. So we only see a check in digital form if there is an issue.
to ensure that Nintendo's Revolution doesn't go the way of the GameCube.
You mean, make a profit from the start, build a good base of great games, and offer a wide range of stellar games? They make money, have a good base of people, and offer the best multiplayer on 1 system without falling short. Games are smooth are intriguing. I have no intention of buying a $400-500 system.
My money is going to Nintendo, espically for castlavania, Smash Bros, Mario, Zelda, Golf, Baseball, and all the party games. Rock on Nintendo.
I love video game consoles! I also love computers!
My office still uses typewriters. Records are still very popular to people who want a rich, vibrante music experience, corded phones work when the power is out, and just about anyone can afford a $3-5 phone even if they are poor. AND a fountain pen is considered elegant and very personal when writing to someone in regards to something important.
Have you tried to play Smash Bros on your phone? What? They don't have that since it would require something better to control it? Well hell! Why don't we make a watch with a 7" screen, a dual-shock controller you carry around and a criss-cross watch strap. Playstation can call it the fisking PSX because of the Strap. cool huh?
You give me a sharp pain behind my left eye....
A few words before I go:
Mario, Zelda, Kirby (including canvas course), Metroid, punch-out, dragon warrior, duck hunt, superscope 6, smash bros., chronotrigger, wild gunmen, hogan's alley, NOT ZELDA 2 for NES, nintendogs, donkey konga but not 2, piliot wings, and WAY TO MANY TO REMEMBER!
Maybe its just me, but I like to spend money on things that are good. I download a movies every now and then due to mixed reviews and such.
If something is good, I go see it/rent it/buy the DVD. If it is not, I saved my cash for something more worthwhile. Although this is a skewed view, I think that there is just too much crap out there.
We are flooded everyday with ads and movies, TV, and all these things. Everyone is trying to get my cash quick, rather than making quality entertainment. Hell, TiVo lets me record a lot of stuff and explore. I need that for Movies and Music.
But if open source advocates and creators spend all of their time in litigation, doesn't Open source suffer as a result?
Their creativeness is put on hold, and the money for litigation has to come from somewhere. They usually are not in it for the money, so where does it come from?
Corps with their deep pockets have an advantage; they can sit in a court room all day long, every day for years, dragging out the process and basically smothering out the open source comeptition.
On the plus side, I guess there will always be someone to pick up the fight!
The IT economy is only starting to recover. DOes this make the prospects of aquiring a well-paying job even more difficult?
It is hard enough with the current situation, but how will this affect companies wanted to expand IT? If they cannot offer such options, they may not hire that extra person here or there. This could cause stagnation of the IT rebound.
Besides, what benifits could you give Indian guy who took the job? another cow? ohhh! Omaha Steaks! I bet he'd love that.
PSP hit me again today. It says that its my fault that it gets so little battery life. If I would only learn to love it as it is. I just don't know.
Today the PSP saw me linking up to play with some friends. It burnt my hands and threw a CD at me. It says that I don't need friends. I should just be with it.
What have I done!? I couldn't take it anymore. I killed the PSP. I took it off teh wall jack, and played it till it passed out. Then I flushed it down the toilet... All I have to remember it by is the broken CD and a scar under my left eye.
Is Adware included in this? Ususally I see them as goign hand and hand. If not, would they combined be 85-90% of the problem. I know Adware doesn't cause you to lose your network connection, but it sure isn't a walk in the park.
Besides, are you really infected if you install Kazzaa or Imesh knowing that you did it to yourself??

Assuming no other costs and no profit, they are only paying the maker $2.50 an hour....

Don't we have technology to take care of this for us? That is what makes America great.
If I have to do math all day, I'd go nuts. Hell, when I was in highschool, we had games on our TI-89's
