I like the mp3 format and I take the music just as seriously as I would in a CD format (it's about content not format for me) maybe more so if I can burn the mp3's to a CD (no restrictions) so if you distribute cover art with yours I think that's a great idea the user can then make a cd and print out the label. Best of luck to you.
My point is that it is a dying job and will be done by the likes of "fast food programmers" I mean you should love your job but if you can't make a living at it then learn to love something else.
I am not be any means an expert but I would think programming would be a job that long term would not be worth doing, just like "technical support" and a host of other services in the IT field aren't worht doing. As the software becomes more "autonomous" there is less need for the people, I give you my job at one of the major hardware companies. After windows XP was released there were so few problems that it was a major factor in the decision to reduce local support staff, other factors being Americans want to much money for the same work that overseas peeps will do for what is regarded a paltry sum here.
Boo Hoo so sad, are you making music for me or for you? If youâ(TM)re selling it then youâ(TM)re making it for me. For the most part these "artist" produce crap on a scale likened to the sewage output of a medium sized city, I mean really, how many of us have purchased an album in the past only to find 1 or 2 good songs at the most on it? I for one am tired of the egos and business practices of the industry and have not paid for, nor will I pay for any "popular music" ever again. I will pay for classical and jazz albums that retain their listenability thru the years unlike the tripe you hear on the top 40.
I'm waiting for the crystal storage so I can back up my terabyte of mp3's -or better yet why bother compressing files when you have terabyte storage. +R better win because that's what I bought and I want to be able to say "I told you so"
uuhhhhh no thanks I like the "anonymous" qualities of cash, and these RFID tags in money won't change the anonymous factor. Personally if you're going to monitor my every purchase and sell that info to other people I should get a cut.
To create a machine that "cleans" the RFID tags thru mini EMP or some such (I'm no expert) make it small cheap and people can fry that crap right out of their clothes, shoes, money and what not.
Cheaters can prosper and quite often do, in school, on the job and in politics. It is a moral question rather than a question of "do you profit or not" having been a bot user in Quake 2 and 3 I found the game quickly lost it's fun and I became jaded believing that others were cheaters and there was no "honor" any longer. As silly and naive as that may sound when I first started playing the game it was all about honor and team work (I play CTF) and I loved it. Once I tried a bot and started using it the entire experience became negative for me. So if you can live with your self when cheating more power to you, I can't, and after 5 years (4 of which were cheat free) I don't play Quake any longer.

It took me less than 2 minutes to sign up the first time now i just enter an user name and pass, is that really so hard? I would rather people feel they can post from any site than have to worry about someone "complaining" that they have to log in.
Like I said my rule of thumb is "who stands to profit?" apply it to your current administration or "cold and flu season" really anything where people profit by selling "fixes" or "cures" Greed.
I wonder if they can be held liable for damages now. I'm sure we have all discussed the type of business providing a cure for a problem you cause. As paranoid as it sounds "cold and flu" season has always been suspicious to me =) My current philosophy for things of this nature is "who stands to profit" and I think you can apply this accross the board (Including the Bush administration) sorry I slipped into Rant mode.
This smacks of being "tossed a bone" email is nothing as far as I'm concerned the privacy violations begin with the phone (cell and land line) and go to what I buy. Those are the things I care about.

Dreams require interpetation, even if you could record them you would need a machine or software that could interpet it, if you could do that then AI would be possible at that point. Other than that you're stuck with on/off and basic items liek that. I'm no expert but I play one on/.
I can see a whole new era of virii and *hacking* people over clocking their brains ETC. Hmmm...maybe a virus that causes you to speak what ever the author has programmed.
This is what happens when you talk to much, we had to go and talk about the internet and now everyone wants a slice =) If they do it in a flat tax per month added to the ISP's bill (like they do with the phones) then I'm not too pissed. However if they charge by bandwidth used then I would be upset.
The current government "sucks" or to be more precise is running rampant on its citizen's rights, however the country it's self is still a good place to live and I still believe in the USA. The real problem is the anti-intellectual T.V. programming, the short attention spans that the citizens seem to have or are developing and the basic immaturity that drivers of SUV's....oh wait...now I'm preaching or ranting can't be sure.
Boy I can't wait till Poindexter gets TIA fully implemented that way you won't have to put up with this, they will just run a check upon receiving your resume and won't even bother with you if you aren't pristine in background and credit area.
I read that this worm caused over a billion dollars of damage. I find this very hard to beleieve and it seems that when ever one of these worms gets loose the amount of $ damage goes up. It's propaganda from the FED's =)

Which is why Apple is only 3% of the market and M$ owns. I think it's a good thing for apple. They are short sighted if what you say is true.

In case the eye scan doesn't work? if so how would this stop anything?

Having done support for Apple I can say this (I earned that right) "Typical Apple Customer"
