You have done something I never thought possible. You have made me think that maybe the iPod is not the best music gadget out there. I am actually looking at USB 2.0 PCI cards for my mac right now. I can't believe I am even considering getting something different than an iPod. I am disgusted with myself.
Sales of tires would increase is cars were cheaper. Tires and cars are perfect compliments. Usually when one car is sold, 4 tires are sold with it. Now if another company was giving tires away for free, or there was some easy way to steal tires from some infinite supply, then it would be different. But for normal physical goods, Balmer would be right. But for software he is absolutely and completely wrong.
Okay, network 1100 XP boxes and try and get the computing power that Virginia Tech gets out of there G5 cluster. I don't know much about what makes a "hyper powerful" OS, but I would imagine that being able to cluster systems would be part of it.
Please pay my consulting fee with a check to cash. Thank you.

Nah, he has a Spymac email address. He might really not know what a developer is.
What are you talking about? I'm running Mac OS 10.3 on my PowerMac 9600. I got my PowerMac in middle school, I'm going to be out of college soon.
I mean are you down on Apple because Mac OS X doesn't support one graphics card on one model of iBook made by Apple like 4 years ago?

Were you running OS X? 9.2 was only made to improve classic in OS X. You weren't running 9.2 on its own were you?
Satellite: OMG! I'm falling!
NASA: You're supposed to fall, forever.
Satellite: Oh.
Maybe they are hoping that two negatives multiplied equals a positive.
"What options did we not exhaust? "
Pretty much every option we are using with North Korea right now. If we had to go to war with Iraq, we have to go to war with North Korea.
