  1. Too nervous to watch it on Star Wars Episode III Teaser Trailer Today · · Score: 3, Insightful

I already read the plot leaks, about the lava surfing etc, I'll go see it anyway but I know the moment I see the trailer I'll probably be disappointed.

  2. This wasn't about Republican vs Democrat on Kerry Concedes Election To Bush · · Score: 1

It was pretty much Rural and small town population VS Urban population, where do you think the majority of the democratic votes come from in the Southern states, and the republican votes come from in the midwestern states? Theres just more and more division now between the mostly urban coasts and the mostly spread out middle and south. The urban populations generally aren't as religous, don't have the history of the rural states and lives focus on their jobs, family, money and being entertained, then religion. The people who live in more rural and spread out states, their lives are generally focused on Family, religion, jobs, money and being entertained. Does anyone have any statistics on who voted on each side based on income? And yes I am generalizing, but I believe the above to be true for the most part.

People aren't blaming him for the Flu Vaccine shortage, most people are pointing out Bush is against importing drugs from canada, and then says we are short of Flu Vaccines because we were counting on IMPORTS from Britain. Why is it okay to import those but not other drugs? Then again I could point out several Bush supporters who say that Kerry is a communist and God wants Bush to win. Their are insane radicals on both side, you can always find crazy accusations without evidence if you go looking for them.

The difference there though is that most of the great GC games are nintendo made, most of the PS2 games are 3rd party. So you can wait for the 2-3 high quality games from nintendo, or you can choose between 100 mediocre but has a few gems 3rd party games for the PS2 so i don't think you can really say its "Sony developers". Personally I own both and I play the PS2 far more, most of the games come out on greatest hits after a year and I find myself a lot happier to buy three games for $20 each and find one gem, one pretty good and one decidedly average than $60 on one game that I might get bored of after two months(Metroid Prime, Mario Sunshine).

Could it just be that a lot of people who were prolific in downloading mp3's now have most of the songs they want? I personally don't care about most new music enough to buy a cd or download a track, not that there isn't some good music out there, I just don't feel theres much I'm willing to pay for. And most of the older stuff I'm into I either got in napsters hey-day, or I own on CD, I can't recall the last time I actively seeked a song out. That and as other posters have already said, the mp3 audiophiles and already moved onto ogg and other formats.

I concur sir. 3 Weeks of casual playing to master pilot, see all ships and pilot most of the ships. So whats left? I'm sure the new content will unfortunuately be one large impossibly hard mission each month e.g "Rebels, attack this star destroy being defended by 1000 ties/Imperials, defend this star destroyer being attacked by 1000 x-wings" a la corvette.

To be honest, I wouldn't bother, I'm in beta and while its fun, I can't see it lasting me more than a month. The original Tie-Fighter still has a better engine than this and was more fun. Don't get me wrong, customizing your ship and reverse engineering looted ship parts is enjoyable, but once you've mastered becoming a pilot (takes about three weeks) and got the best ship, it quickly becomes mediocre. Thats my two cents.

I would like to see the process streamlined so that undocumented workers, who are here and are paying taxes and contributing to our society, can obtain citizenship more simply and easily.

As an immigrant myself, I hate it when politicians seem to think people who broke the law and sneaked in illegally should have an easy free ride while people who legally go through proper channels have to submit themselves to the CIA, FBI and INS background checks, financial probes, demeaning interviews, and treated like a criminal and get to pay several thousand dollars to do so. Why bother going through the legal immigration process when you can sneak in and get everyone bending over backwards to get you a driving license, housing, free healthcare, fast tracked citizenship etc.

Its like if you burst into a room and said Fred Smith died yesterday!!, you'd probably be met with blank stares and then asked, just who was Fred Smith? I agree in principle, but for the past two and a half years I have been a greencard holder (I am from england as it happens), and I still am not able to even apply for citizenship until next year, and then it will take another 6-12 months for the process. So for intents and purposes I will of been like everyone here except I cannot vote, and can't even get the option of gaining citizenship for several years. If non citizens can vote fine, like the parent suggested, at least streamline the citizenship process, give those who actually want to be a citizen a chance. I'd personally welcome extra background checks, fingerprints (I've already had several from the INS before I was even allowed to come here) if it meant faster options for citizenship.

In the grand scheme of things, I'd rather have to deal with someone being able to watch me walk down the highstreet than my name and personal details being stored on multiple computers by people I don't know for purposes I am unaware of. If I look for a page that doesn't seem to be there, instead of a 404 I get told page unavailable unless the site has their own custom not found page, does this mean it doesn't exist or its not available? Its the dumbing down of the Internet.
