Why does noscript need to be updated that often, if ever? What happens in these updates anyway? I honestly cannot tell the difference in functionality in noscript now and when I first downloaded it a few years ago. Someone should fork it, strip out the crap, and then never update it again (except security fixes, etc.)
The 60-80 dollar range seems to be a "sweet spot" for headphones. Grado's SR-60s are $70 and the best headphones under $100 I've listened to. More expensive ones can be better, but you quickly run into diminishing returns.
IANAL, so could someone explain to me how it makes any sense that he was found guilty of first degree murder when no one can even prove that Nina is dead? Maybe a lesser charge such as manslaughter, but I think that the fact that the prosecution cannot definitely say that she is dead should be enough for reasonable doubt.
Back when I had 512MB of memory, I had a 512MB swap partition, but I noticed that I never came close to using all of it.
When I got my new machine with 1G, I never bothered to make one at all, and I've never had a problem with it. If I do ever find myself in a situation where I need some swap space, I could always just create a swap file. It's a lot more convinient because it wouldn't have to be a fixed size, doesn't take up space when I don't need it, and I have one less partition
Especially if you have 2G or more, I don't see a real reason to use swap
Although many IRC clients exist, mIRC is simply the best one out there. It's easy to use and packed with features. Once you install and setup mIRC, continue throughout the rest of our IRC sections to learn how files are being transferred on the IRC networks.
Sure it does. Go to about:config->general.useragent. There you can edit it to whatever you want. Sure, it's not as easy as in Opera where you can do it from the menu, but this gives you more control (you can only choose from a list in Opera, not make it whatever you want, IIRC)
This summer, I went to Mexico to visit some relatives for two weeks. I could have brought my laptop, but I decided not to, just to see what two weeks without my computer and an internet connection would be like. It turned out to be a fun two weeks, and I didn't miss my computer that much.
The day I got back home, I arrived from the airport at around 1:00 AM and I was pretty tired because I hadn't been able to fall asleep on the plane. I preceeded to spend the next six hours catching up on everything that I had missed.
Yes, and it does seem to be down. Try enlightenment.org.au, enlightenment.sf.net, or http://get-e.org/ (thanks to the helpful people in ##enlightenment at freenode)

Maybe the list would be better if more than 132 people had voted. Hell, it looks like there are more comments on that page than people who voted.
Nintendo loses money on each GC made and sold. Do you really think they can make and distrubte them for $100? They make the money from the royalties companies pay. So, if you buy a GC and then pirate all the games, you're making Nintendo's profits going down more than if you hadn't bought it.
Yes, maybe more people will buy games, but I get the feeling that there will be more people pirating than people only getting a GC because it allows pirating and then buying games legally.
6. Why did you mess up the clean, crisp Google homepage?
We didn't. If you want to keep using the original Google homepage, you can. In fact, we expect that many users will. The personalized homepage is for those users who want to see more of the information that matters to them in the same place. You can always switch back and forth between your personalized homepage and the original Google homepage by clicking "Classic Home" or "Personalized Home."
No he won't. The number $628,880,000 comes from the fact that the estimated average amount of money made in one day by these people going to see the movie instead of work is ~$130. They are certainly not paying that much money to see the movie, let alone to George Lucas.
While I agree that all of those steps are useful, how is this different than the advice that people have been giving since spyware became a problem? People always recommend spybot: search and destroy and ad-aware since they came out. And I'm certain that I've read more complete guides than this (although I understand this makes it harder for regular users to follow)

What are your thoughts -- do Firefox and the open source community welcome this kind of analysis?
Not getting this kind of analysis isn't going to stop the bad guys from running them.

Right...
There is something I want to hear most of the time. My music.
For example, when I click an icon, it starts bouncing.
If that's one of your complaints, I can tell you've never really used KDE much. The option to disable to this is clearly visible in kcontrol.

I'm not sure how accurate this is, but my friends and I used to have fun going through these. http://dumblaws.com/

Blame Slashdot. The RSS hasn't updated yet.

So that's why my friend came back saying that he didn't want to go to MIT...
