Sure. Look at the given text for the first google hit. It says "disneyification." This lead me to believe this term was referring to "pablum". So I looked that up, and found out that "pablum" is used to describe oversimplification of something.
Why would you want to pay that much money to play WoW on your TV when you could simply play it on your PC? A memory and video card upgrade would cost less than that.
What kind of Joe Sixpack would want to buy a computer with no operating system on it? Dell wouldn't be going for the niche computer users. They'd be going for the group of people wanting to save time and money.
"Your "right" leaning folks are probably more independent/market minded. I.E. if free software does the job then why would I pay for something that may not be as good?" If we associated "the right" with "conservatism"...well, "the right" wouldn't be using computers. Maybe an Abacus. But good luck connecting to the net w/ that.
Last time I checked, one "springs" forward. As in jumps forward. And one "falls" backwards. I'm not quite sure how one would "spring" backwards. Although that would be highly amusing to watch on youtube.
The cover of the game has the black character on it, so he's the "main" protagonist. In fact, from the original set of characters you can choose from, there are no "normal" white guys. They are all disfigured in some way. It's only when you get the downloadable characters do you get a normal white guy.
On the screen where you choose whether to do it solo or coop (and choose dificulty), there's a bunch of pictures. The picture you choose is the skin of your character. The default one is the black guy.
shhhhh. Just because Microsoft is invariably mentioned in any story about Google, that doesn't mean that you can mention Google in any Microsoft stories.
Funny, that's exactly how I read it the first time. My first thought was "What the hell? Ancient google?" Only after reading it twice did I realize he forgot a coma. I think we should fix those kind of problems before our Metric vs. US Units problem:)
Ah, thank you for your insightful post. I wasn't aware that every single person who got upset over a derogatory term was instantly a fanboi or astroturfer. Damn those astroturfers and fanbois who get mad at "open sores"!
How about you grow up and stop labeling everything you don't like with childish names, hmm?

Wikipedia has a good entry on Pablum.
That's extremely convenient? I wonder what the ability to download straight to mp3 would be then.

I'm sad to see that they don't recognize Dune II as the basis for which the success of Warcraft was built upon.

And I've never had windows crash on me. That's 10 years of thousands of hours without a single crash.
I'm not gonna go around strongly implying that windows never crashes though.
More people use open-source software than propriety software? I'm not sure what you mean by "FOSS software gets more intense testing."
You seem to think a lack of a toilet would stop him.

No, that's RMS who has a samurai sword:

Sysadmins have been search this entire time to find a Solaris box to fix.
They are still searching.
DNF will be the greatest game ever.
Good analogy, but one problem: no one has ever heard of you. People have heard of Microsoft.

It could only be one thing that caused this mystery...The Lobstermen from Mars have started their global conquest!

You actually want American Idol?
Consider it a service for them not having it!

What game was this?
What's this "M$" you speak of?
What about the people who quit WoW, and are intrigued by BC? I don't think anyone would say that those people aren't interested in the reviews.
