Do these have the same problems as most florescent bulbs?
I can not stand having the lights on in my office as they give me headaches. I haven't adopted the bulbs for this reason.
So if this passes, a kid can't play a game simulating a cock fight, but he can go to one?

US, (raised in Texas) I've tried different ways, trying to emphasize the 'oo' sound and speak louder and that didnt work. Then my girlfriend (raised in New Jersey) plays it once, wasn't that loud and got through it no problem.
I've tried different volumes in my voice and have had better success with quieter voices, but it still doesn't work that well for me. I'd rather just do the word memorization rather than be upset its counting off for its voice problems.

Yes, it asks you "Are you in a place you can speak freely?" I always press 'No' because we disagree on how I pronounce the world 'blue'.
Those bastards didn't even do a blurb about Chu Chu other than list it at the bottom. That game is an awesome party game and is the reason why I still keep a working DC in the room for get togethers.
Realtor: This is the Hot Chicks Room. The breakfast table's just over this way...
Wife: Excuse me? What was that room again?
Realtor: Oh, this is the Hot Chicks Room. It's filled with assorted hot chicks, who party in here 24 hours a day. But you'd be more interested in the kitchen.
Wife: You know what? We're not going to need a sexy chicks room.
Realtor: Well, actually it's a Hot Chicks Room.
Wife: Well, whatever it is, we don't need it.
Husband: You said the same thing about the microwave, and we use that darned thing all the time.

Husband: So, a Hot Chicks Room, huh?
Realtor: Yeah. The previous owner installed the room in the 80's, and I'll be honest with you, some of the chicks aren't all that hot anymore. However, they are replacable.
I was just curious will these machines be free (or incentive based)so that everyone can play or will they require cash so that only the kids whose parents can afford to give them money for the machines can play?
It'd be nice if we had one more way to point out the poor kids at school...
I completely agree that most D&B's suck in their game selection. I've only been to 2 or 3, but they seem to lack variety in their shop. This guy's little post neglected to mention the lack of pinball machines, Golden Tees, or depth in classic beyond one pacman/galaga combo and qix/space invaders combo that most have.
PS2 had GTA: SA and XBox had Halo2 during that time period. GameCube had Metroid Prime 2, but wasn't nearly a big of draw to buy a machine. GameCube numbers should pick up probably with Resident Evil 4, new Zelda and Pokemon games.
Of course the GC wouldnt be aware of a new interface, but it does have a set interface that it works with the GBA and one that works with controllers or whatever. If the DS followed one of the known interfaces, a connection could still be made.
I wouldn't expect the game designers or the gamecube designers to take in account of the DS...I just thought the DS designers would provide the connectivity to promote their link capabilites.
In one article it says the DS wont be compatible with the GBA to GBA link cable. I hope they have something that will connect to the GameCube so I could finally play FF:CC or Zelda:Four Swords multiplayer....
but what about when Quake2 came out?
The code runs at about 60% performance on today's machines. So when Quake2 was released, Quake2 Java would have broken my machine, as it barely ran the orignal Quake2 version.
Java can offer portability over platforms but games often push hardware to its limits and so may raise the bar on minimum system specs.

Is it....Satan?
Will the interest accrued help bring down the price?
I'd rather play Starcraft 2.
That's not true. They just can't get American labor to do it quickly and under budget.
They are legal in Louisiana. Every attempt to pass a ban on them has failed so far.

Yes, but after a few years all the game related programming will be replaced with the Man Show and crap about pimping your rod.
replace love songs with crate smashing.

I was going to say this would be a perfect oppurtunity to revive Mutant League Football, but that was also EA's.
I thought that "leaked" internal memo previosly mentioned meant that EA was going to change all of this and pay overtime and allow normal work hours.
