Everyone seems to be making comparisons between this game and various other games, but I think it is very unique. It certainly doesn't play like spellforce, lets say.
The actual PRG-ness in the game is very underplayed - sure, your characters level up, but it is a global leveling for all Captains of a certain type. Also there is no real inventory to speak of. The Underground section doesn't play like an RPG, but more like a smaller scale RTS with more unit micromangement required.

C&C clone?? I wouldn't call it a blindly brilliant game, sure, but it is in no way similar to C&C. If anything, its feel reminds me of something like Age of Wonders or HoMM gone real-time. you can hardly call any RTS a C&C clone, and this particular game plays very differently to any other stuff in the genre.

If you select a large group of units, tab will take you through the various unit types. You can also click once on their icon at the bottom of the screen to select that particular type of units. Double click an icon will select just that unit.
It really has a very simple interface, reminds me of Warcraft. Perhaps you should play the tutorial in future, before leveling complaints at the game?
I must say I disapprove of this wave of user friendly technology. Normal people shouldn't be able to use technology, no. They should pay me £70 an hour to do it for them.
*gasp* He was actually attempting to do something reasonable and worthwhile (despite the fact he failed)? Wow, I'll have to rethink my opinions on him.
It was so satisfying when it was raining yesterday... a sleeping bag pulled up to my neck, sitting in a 2 man tent reading random blogs. Sure, my tent leaked loads, but who cares? I covered all my electronics with towels.
maybe they just forgot to remove it? I have seen a couple of games that do that - on the FarCry disks there is a random text/ini file of some description that only contains "remove this file before production" within it. Likewise, the PC release of Deus Ex: Invisible War contains a file showing the control mappings for the X-Box controller.
just because it is a commercial release product doesn't mean the company isn't too lazy to check it for faults. Maybe the Hot Coffee project was abandoned, then forgotten about, so no-one thought about taking the code out before release. Its all possible.
Huh? really? well a teenager sure is interested in nudity. I first started doing the whole porn thing at age 13 and I sure as hell was interested in naked people then.
I wonder if they could put technology on the disk that was similat to that fade technology novalogic put on their games a while back - So that one person could copy as much as they wanted but secondary users could not make successfull copies... or could you get around that with a Clone CD type program?
I only had WinXP and Office XP running for a couple of days on a small partition just to see how MS was getting along,/i>
If it was with a fresh, clean install of windows, of course it is going to be fast! I can remember when I first installed XP - it did everything lightning quick, and took nearly no time at all to boot. But then I installed games, apps and exposed my computer to the internet. Now I have time to go make a cup of tea while my PC boots...
Silence Rebel Cur! Obviously, due to your inherent Idiotic American-ness, you have not heard of the ultimate destructive powers of Our Queen! She can fly, shoot lasers out of her eyes... everything - its a genetic trait in the royal familly. They were going to go wipe out the Nazi's in 41, but then you guys joined and they felt bad about not giving you any war to fight in.
On a more serious note, you don't seem to understand how much public opinion the world over has turned against America. It is perfectly acceptable in many circles in England, and other countries, to slate or hate America and its population simply because they are American. The actions of you and your government over the last half century has not given people a warm view on your country, despite the actions you may have taken during the first half of the century that aided various people. You are more publicly disliked that England, and we sure as hell invaded enough countries during our colonial era to piss a lot of people off.
And what I'm saying, if you would take then time to read my post, is that you could set it a long time in the past - a thousand years or so. Make no references to any of the characters in the already made films. Tell a new story with new characters, just like they did in Kotor.
At the end of episode 6 all the Sith were pretty much owned (I'm pretty sure Darth Vader was supposed to be the last Sith left - see all the references to his 'old religon' or whatever) , so if you wanted more storyline to do with the Sith you would have to go a long time into the future - 500 years or so - before the Sith would start up again.
Either way, you would have a completly new slate to create a new story.
Maybe their goverment is interested in getting votes in the next election? It would sure as hell make them popular with everyone, if they legalised file sharing.
I wonder if it would make France the new pirate haven, like Sweden?
It fits rather snuggly in french, Spanish, Italian, German etc. Just not in Chinese, Korean, Arabic etc, I would think.

Have fun!
Aye. Sex is the only reason to do anything. Sims 2 needs to be graphic and AO rated!

I'm at WTH and I haven't worn shoe's for a couple of days now. Its strangely satisfying.
But we don't have to worry about bombs because we spend 15 hours a day in front of a computer in a nice, safe basement.
thats like... the third time I have seen that quote on this article.
Hey, everyone abused their kids in those days. It was the fashionable thing to do.

Not in the red light district.

And france does produce some things I like to watch... *cough*
