    can someone explain the problem with electronic voting to me? i only know some basic LISP but i am pretty sure i could write something that allows me to enter custom candidate names and then tally's votes and prints a receipt... ...and what is the deal with misaligned touch screens, etc. why not just us a mouse and cursor?

    what is really funny is that they take a swing at eminent domain. which, while generally disliked, is a perfectly legal way to take something for less than it is really worth.

    they also think it is important to ruin the life of one of the schools best students for some music she wouldn't have bought anyway. (btw, i hate that argument.)

    i generally think sharing music without paying is bad karma. personally, as an architect (the one that builds physical things), i like to be compensated for my work. even if it can be distributed as 1s and 0s.

    lets see, while the usa gives less in terms of gdp, it, by your own link, contributes almost twice the money the next closest country (germany) does. i am confused by your proof.

    it never mentions the readers gender once. alway 'you' or 'your'. granted the business associate is referred to to as a male, but the reader could easily be female. in regards to the housewife comment. housewives still exist and many women enjoy that role in life. just because they arent defining themselves by how much money they make doesnt mean they dont lead a good life. that said many men like to be 'househusbands'. it is funny how housewives are denigrated but others who put children (teachers for example) are praised for their selflessness. or is it not cool to sacrifice for your own kids? i guess that is selfish. carry-on.

    granted i havent worked everywhere, but everywhere i have worked allows the eaves to project into that setback. often up to 3'. eave size is a funtion of regional architectural styles and now somewhat cost - it is cheaper to not build an eave on the gable end.

    this was true until HVAC became widely available. there is an ad that was run in architecture magazines in the 60s. it showed an image of a couple buildings and asked where they were built. below in block text it said: cairo, new york, tokyo. it is slowly becoming a consideration again and is treated as something 'new'

    i acutally had that class. we even had to make a video commercial and see how many lies and subliminal messages we could get by our classmates. our product was something like 'nigel'S EXtra strength clay pots' the premise was a pot party complete with donut eating cops and hippies. a lot got by. good ol 9th grade.
