  1. Re:Exactly on Study Finds P2P Has No Effect on Legal Music Sales · · Score: 1

I do not agree with you. I download a lot of music which I like. But why do I need a CD of it if I play MP3's only? I haven't bought a CD in three years. However, I download them. But when I really like an artist, I go to the gigs. And afaik they make more money from gigs than from music sells. Dunno for sure.

  3. Graphically Heavy on Why "Upgrade" To Office 2007 · · Score: 2, Interesting

Someone here at my job has Office 2007 installed. It has some weird graphical things, like transparant popup windows when selecting text. this window shows options like bold/italic, etc. when moving the mouse over it, it slowly fades in. Moving the mouse out of the window makes it transparent again. I really don't see the use of it. Then there is this OSX background and still too much buttons.

  7. BitlBee on IM On Mobile Phones · · Score: 1

I use BitlBee for talking to MSN/Yahoo!/AIM/ICQ/Jabber . Because BitlBee is a IRC to other chat networks gateway, it's possible to connect with an irc client for your mobile phone to some public server. I use jmIrc as IRC client. You only pay for GPRS or UMTS data. I bet this IM thingy will be more expensive.

    Offtopic, but about google:

It looks like google opened op gtalk to the other public jabber networks. It's possible to talk server-to-server now!

afaik the Bitlbee team got the heads up.
  10. Re:some questions on More to the North Star Than Meets the Eye · · Score: 1

You can say Polaris B sucks, but that won't affect it, or the triple star system at all. Polaris B is easily visible in small amateur telescopes. It makes Polaris a very pretty star to look at.

Even with my 70 mm celestron lens telescope?
    Let's give it a try!

  11. some questions on More to the North Star Than Meets the Eye · · Score: 1

I'm looking at that image right now and I wonder why the PolarisA and PolarisB stars seen as double star? As far as I see, the B star is very far away from the A star. or do they circle arround eachother?
And could it be possible that the PolarisAb star is (very FAR as well) behind the PolarisA star at this moment?

And because there is this PolarisAb star now, can't you just say the PolarisB star sucks and remove them from the triple star system? so we have still a double star, without that B-star?

  13. Dofus on Games That Travel Well · · Score: 1

Dofus is a French / English tactical MMORPG, it's build with Flash so it works in any browser (or standalone on Windows/Mac). Dofus is not totally free (as in beer), but there is an area on the map where you can play for free. It's a very funny game. There are jokes everywhere (in the items, quests, weapons, spells etc) If you don't want to pay for a game you better not try this one out. Because you'll get addicted and before you know it, you'll pay the monthly fee!

  18. Two types of keyloggers on Protecting Your Personal Info While Traveling? · · Score: 1

Afaik there are two types of keyloggers, software or hardware. Both are easy to hide. But if you are able to look behind the computer case, you could see some sort of extension between the keyboard cable and the computer. If there is one, it could be a logger (your boss could do this too :-P).
