  1. Re:Fine by me on Wikipedia Bans Church of Scientology · · Score: 1

Why is it that humor magazines and TV shows give us the best information these days?

They know that you'll tune in for the duration of the show or read the whole magazine after you finish that article/segment. Nobody wants to sit through a 5 minute fluff piece of waterskiing squirrels to hear about the roadside bombing in Iraq just to boost their ratings for the 6:30 to 6:40 segment of the news program.

Another very informative/humorous website with information is the [NSFW WARNING]Rotten Library[NSFW WARNING].

pfSense is also not a UTM, but it has a lot of plugins that can get close. But since it is a lot of plugins, it is not really "Unifiied."

I tried shopping around with various free firewalls/UTMs when I wanted to try something different then pfSense for SOHO installs. I ended up finding out that things like Endian, Untangle, etc. all are lacking the freedom that pfSense does. I'll stick with pfSense, thanks.

As someone who's been 'diagnosed' with ADHD, I can confidently say that the solution to this 'problem' isn't putting kids on amphetamines, it's to fire the horrible teachers that make learning a horrible, horrible chore.

I agree. I was 'diagnosed' with it as well. As long as I had a very interesting teacher I was attentive. Interesting can be replaced with "attractive and female," as well.

so is it paypals fault you didn't turn off the auto renew? You need to make sure that you turn off auto renew or keep enough cash in your account to cover afew extra hundred bucks.

This was a long time ago when I was unemployed and living in my parents basement digging through the couch for change to pay for gas money to go to job interviews. I never said it was paypals fault, as well.

And PayPal will automatically deduct money from your bank account when you set up a subscription unless if you configure it not to. I had then overdraft $100 from my account when I didn't kill off the auto renew.

It's a shame you got modded flamebait, I was making a wisecrack but I do see where you're coming from. I'd just disable YRO on your main page so you don't see any of these articles. If you know how to code, you can always make a greasemonkey script to cut out certain keywords.

How about this: the only one who can make a judgement about a civil case is a court of law?

That won't work. As long as there is a mob mentality with the media and the groups going after individuals it won't change. Don Imus had his livelihood threatened when he made an offhand comment because of the mob mentality, yet he didn't violate any laws.

Mod parent down, keep the good ways secrets, the way they should be. Napster was a secret, then it sank. Limewire was, as well. Keep it quiet.
