Hmm BBC 3 is hardly comedy central. I hope they don't think because it worked for Dr Who it will work for anything.
Dr Who worked because it was actually good, so everyone told their friends to watch it.
If this comedy is as crap as everything else on BBC 3 then surely everyone will just tell their friends not to watch it.
I hope I'm wrong though.
Considering you have to give Valve all the rights to any map you create for HLDM, you're basically being paid to create a HL DM map for them. Could some professional map designer tell us if thats a reasonable fee to be paid?
My friend was building a 3D scanner for his final year project. He went to Aurora for a tour and to see how they did it.
According to him they said that they'd taken Geri Halliwell's face and put it on to the body of a model for one of her videos as she was pregnant at the time.:o (this was around the beginning of 2000, I'm not a big Geri fan so I can't tell you what video it was)
I wasn't sure if I believed what Aurora had said at the time, and I'm still not. But if its true, this technology must be pretty advanced as that was 4 years ago.
Saint Aardvark writes "NASA's QuakeSim project has successfully predicted15 out of 16 of California's earthquakes with magnitude > 5, including 11 since the map was published in 2002. "So far, the technique has only missed one earthquake, a magnitude of 5.2, on June 15, 2004, under the ocean near San Clemente Island.""
But when I look at the site it says:
the Rundle-Tiampo Forecast has accurately predicted the
locations of 15 of California's 16 largest earthquakes this decade, including last week's tremors.
Its important to remember that playing games a lot does not mean you are addicted to it.
I eat cereal everyday for breakfast.
I am not addicted to it.
I watch TV everyday.
I am not addicted to it.
I play games pretty much every day.
I am not addicted to it.
Well that pressure will always be there, only varying by a small amount. Normal temperatures only vary by approx +-20C so it won't matter if its a hot day or not. One would imagine they designed the tank to hold the pressure.
The interesting thing is when the hydrogen is released into engine it will be expanding and so taking heat from the engine. I wonder how much heat it takes out of the engine? Would it be enough to see the end of water cooling for the engine?
Atleast its finally showing a government willing to do something about it. You can't just educate people overnight to become IT experts and never get fooled again by some auto dialer. There will always be people who don't understand the system they are using. Education isn't a complete solution, the telephone regulators have to step in and do something.
I would actually like to see a ban on the extreme premium rate calls completely (the ones that charge about 1000% the price of the call), but still allow the double the cost ones for TV programmes to make money in their competitions/polls like who wants to be a millionaire etc.
Ooh I like this idea. They could send back a letter showing their mistake and demand that they pay their legal costs. 30 minutes? About 20$?
If it went to court I'm sure they'd win.
It looks nice, but wouldn't it just have been easier and cheaper to buy a laptop?

You'd think he would have created a web version of this puzzle so we could all try it out. :/

Why not sue them and license the technology?
