If you let someone else install the software while you aren't around, you can claim that you have never seen the EULA in the first place. I guess that would work better then arguing that it wasn't you that pushed the button.
It is probably mentioned in the same history books that other European countries did the same. So what is it that makes the Dutch the worst colonizers?
Except for the fact that we were expanding while the rest already stopped expanding and didn't grant independence after WO II. But in the earlier years we weren't worse then the rest of Europe.
The other European countries probably do not have clean reputations regarding the colonies.
The EULA probably does not cover that secuROM stays on your harddrive, even after removal of Spore.
This lawsuit might put EA into the position that it has to release some kind of removal tool. But even without the lawsuit I think EA should remove all Spore related software when you deinstall it.
They had their own currency, before they switched to the euro. And now they are allowed to issue their own euros, which are mainly sold to collectors, because of the rarity.
Then you probably haven't been in Eifel region. I was there a few weeks ago and most people there do not speak English.
They are not that English minded, for instance in university they still write their thesis (diplomarbeit) in German. And yes, these become quite unreadable when each sentence has 2 or 3 English words in it. (The student didn't translate pointcut, namespace, aspect, etc. into German).
In the Netherlands it is (almost) no longer possible to file your taxes non-electronically. And the government is trying to get everything electronically, thus going for e-government.
I'd guess that more countries get a system like this. Which makes it quite strange to get a 3-strikes-out system, because it will exclude people from the e-government systems.
Electronic voting is still young and what we see now is the system is not yet perfect. However with each election the system get better by learning from mistakes.
Like you have to keep watch on the machines after they are sealed and just not store them in a warehouse where everybody can access them.
Luckily we have a group in the Netherlands that appoints these problems and so the electronic voting will get better after each election.
If they target the brand to teens, Nokia has a very good change that it works.
a) N-Gage just sounds well.
b) The current youth has never heard of the N-Gage before.
4 years is quite long in the mobile telephone business, so it figures that Nokia relaunches a good old name.
You are forgetting that the only constant in these comparisons are the well-known Brandname goods. A consumer watch agency will not compare different types of peanut butter because you'll get "taste" differences.
To compare house brands you have to compare between price and quality. When you compare only goods that are sold at any supermarket with the same brand and quantity, you only keep one different factor: the prize.
So this is to only way to get a decent comparison, adding house brands will only make the comparison less creditable.
But I have to agree with you on one point, house brand peanut butter (the C1000 one) tastes better then the brand one.
And what will prevent the teenager to turn it off? Unless you wire it into car electronic system, it will not have much use if you can simply turn it off. Or do parents get the location where the device is shut down?
Bulldozers just give a better effect, it adds more drama.
Hoppefully the idea of that when you do not have any may on the bank, you must have burried it somewhere, dies quickly.

So we should only pirate music and movies from countries we are at war with?
Slave trade and piracy was the WIC (West India Company), and not the VOC (East India Company).

I'd guess several games for Mac, like Football Manager 2009. They probably added graphical libraries.

with its own currency, mind you

If you're looking at the EU, learn spanish, italian, german, french, or russian.
You are forgetting Dutch.

The Netherlands and COLD??? The last winters were so warm, that we now directly move from autumn to spring in the Netherlands.

I think the company will be quite happy when all the readers at least buy something

In a billion years propably the defintion of planet will have a few thousand updates.
The problem will fix itself in time I guess.
For that group we can just build a little USB keyboard extension that only has a Caps Lock key.
Bulldozers just give a better effect, it adds more drama. Hoppefully the idea of that when you do not have any may on the bank, you must have burried it somewhere, dies quickly.
If everybody with the same plan would have registered, we probably would have end up with more non-porn than porn xxx domains.
Finally, with more articles like this I can say that reading Slashdot is actually good for my thesis on AOP.
Number 8 will be released in boxes of breakfast cereal.
When you call it Das Keyboard then it probably has the German layout. They do that to filter out the wanna-be uber-geeks.
