Sometimes the RF receiver can get interference from other devices. The best RF mice/keyboards for desktops are the ones that use the mouse charging station as the receiver as you can place it away from interfering electronics. I found when I had the charging station too close to my speakers (when they're on) or close to my old CRT it had problems with reception.
If you are stuck using the USB dongle receiver, try using a port on the front of your box, or at least as far away from any wireless cards you may have installed. I believe BlueTooth would be susceptible to the same issues, depending on the manufacturing quality. Also, internally installed BT receivers may be positioned to avoid interference within your box.
Here on the east coast, my Eastlink service doesn't seem to be capped. They usually have decent customer service too. Torrents are sometimes slow, but I don't think that's the fault of the ISP, since some reach ~500kB/s. The highest d/l speed I've had was about ~2MB/s = ~16Mb/s (It's rated at 15Mb/s). I'm not sure what I d/l in a month, but I'm sure some months is been > 30 GB. Cost is roughly $50-$60/mnth (Canadian dollars).
The problem is if it says that 35% was copied from another location, as long as the work is cited it technically isn't plagiarism since the student wouldn't be passing the work off as their own. They should probably receive a poor grade for lack of actual work, but as long as they don't claim it as their own, the text is not plagiarised.
This judge is essentially speeding in order to change the speed limit.
A better analogy would be that the judge is painting over the sign that states the speed limit, to make someone driving within the legislated limits a criminal.
I'd give you mine if I could. My machine at work is using IE6 which seems to have problems with the ajax on the mod drop downs. Too bad really, cause I spend so much time here reading/..
They should just call it some form of OCD that these kids NEED to play the game before their homework so that this can't be used to demonize gaming. Blame the disorder, not the games.
It's also worth noting that the greenhouse effect is not the only problem arising from our freewheeling pollution habits.
Like the rising acidity of our oceans, which threaten to kill off many species and knock out the based of the food chain? Yes, you are correct, pollution would do this.
Think of the phrase "as cheap" as the inverse of "as expensive". Thus, 2 times cheaper == 1/2 times as expensive (i.e. half price). At least that's how a geek could make sense of it, since you are correct, it doesn't make sense when taken literally.
Convenience is not an excuse to violate civil rights
However, greater civil rights should be an excuse to violate civil rights. If the benefits gained from pushing these abandoned works into the public domain is greater than the benefit some dead dude's estate gets from collecting pennies (or nothing) from a book out of print, then I'd say it's more than justified.
They need the rover to be able to push aside the equivalent of 1.8 Olympic Swimming Pools of sand. It also needs to be able to traverse the grand canyon 3 times.
What I'm wondering is why no one here has yet suggested that the person buys 7 pieces of beef jerky and then just eats them. I know that's what I'd do.
I said this above to one of your posts, but I'll say it again here. I find you having a quote from Lao Tzu quite ironic.
I find it ironic that you have a quote from Lau Tzu as your sig.

There's your problem, right there.

Can I get +5 Informative too?
I'd said he's being a little more obtuse than that!
I would be more worried about one of his chairmembers presiding over my trial.

You're right, the cake IS NOT a lie!
Give it to Spinal Tap and they'll crank that thing to 11!
My original 1989 Gameboy has been in my bottom drawer just waiting for this occassion. Finally I can restore its original Dot Matrix Awesomeness!

Weren't you listening? He doesn't use computers therefore he doesn't have an account! Some people just don't get the logic in that...
