    the sound from just about any flash movie ive ever played is out of sync!
    and gets worse over time

    also google still allows you to download the actual movie, the flash is a lower quality preview

    but ya flash blows
    they have terrible or no support for most architectures/OSes out there
    and for a 'web application' platform thats just flat out unacceptable

    they did release a 32bit only version 7 for linux, but there have been what? 2 other versions and a 3rd coming since then? and none of them work on linux..
    also they dont have 64bit support
    and as far as i know it ONLY works on x86

    so if you write your interactive web application using ajax then it works on nearly every operating system known to man.. or flash and it works only on one

    i love the older games
    im gonna force my kid to play them ;)

    i recently started playing some old games (not THAAT old though) on SNES
    i recently rebeat super mario world

    legend of zelda for SNES

    i played thru parts of FF3 and rebeat that, that game is sooo amazing ;) it got me all misty from the extreme nostalgia ;)

    FF7 somehow DOES look like ass though i remember at the time it was amazing, but going back to it after the incredible 3d we are used to today really is difficult ;)

    i guess its harder to go back to old 3d games cause 3d has improved so much, tile based 2d scrollers are still great fun though

    also mario kart for snes is still completely totally RULES

    ATI kinda sucks for linux support, and their drivers in general seem more unpolished and buggy

    hopefully AMD gets things moving to provide better drivers and better linux support for their supposedly superiour hardware..

    nvidia does a great job with their drivers. if intel bought them id be worried they screw it up with 'strategy' and crap, just give us the damn hardware

    i mean this crater is sooo damn big that it wasnt even noticed till it was seen by satalites

    theres on in europe like that too
    its sooooo damn huge, an entire town is built in it, and an entire cathedral was built using a special rock that only forms from extreeeme compression and no one even knew it was a crater until some scientists realized the cathedral was built from that rock

    when they are tooo big its hard to notice

    like when you capture a lizard and it escapes and crawls onto the back of your arm, and thinks its safe cause it cant see your face ;)

    your so big compared to him that it doesnt even realize its still on you ;)

    i hate windows but even i think the way MS is being treated over there is unfair

    i mean.. wtf? they bunded a media player with their windows WOOPTY DAMN DOO...
    how many billions of dollars should they have to pay out for giving you free software with their commercial software..

    microsoft has done plenty of other shady things that they got away with, for them to be getting skewered and raked over the coals for something that ISNT WRONG is pretty stupid..

    also two other guys also hold patents on anonymouse development, and encrypted p2p models seperately

    but see my genius was that i combined them .. in a completely non-obvious way...

    our patent system is complete shit
    it ruins innovation, harms innovators and the only ones its working for are patent lawyers and the patent trolling companies that employ them...

    its completely missed the mark

    wow i am always complaining about how new US laws are taking us backwards in certain areas.. but apparently this isnt the only country where that is so..
    this outlaws sooo much fair use, World of Warcraft, Steam, and the CD's thing is also completely absurd..

    the perfect example is burning linux, or making copies of your own software/data, now your being penalized for these fair uses

    thank YOU spain for reminding me that there are indeed other countries that have far more retarded and uneducated laws than the united states ;)

    or post it somewhere visible to customers inside ;)

    or you could have them sign up for it once, add their mac to the router to get access and exclude everyone else

    i dont even ask that they get one first just get one so there is some record of wiretapping that fisa thing allows 72 hours afterward to get it, and you dont have to have any real reason its just so there is SOME record of it.. we dont know if bush and co have done 10, or 10million, and we dont know on who, he could have every politician monitored for all we know its like watergate*1000 and no one is doing anything about it

    on wow you can have upto 10 per server
    im not sure if there is a total limit

    anyway i am also not sure if there is a limit on how much gold you can hold, ive never had more than about 700ish which .. i bought from gold farmers ;)

    i really like being able to just buy cheap gold
      i mean i can either grind it out for 2 weeks to get enough gold for a mount (which is boring as hell) or just pay 40 bucks (less than i make in an hour) and enjoy PLAYING the game instead of grinding with other farmers ;)

    im not going to be happy when the gold market's prices go flying up ;(

    these microsoft is being exploited again articles get kinda funny when you see one every few days
    and a critical one every 1-3 weeks
    cant even go a month without major exploits on windows

    its either a sign of completely lousy untrustable crap code, or that they are purposely leaving backdoors in there for some evil purpose ;) and hackers are getting better at finding them now
