Here's an explanation from NASA. In shorter version, how fast the sunspots cycle in and out of the Sun's surface determines how big they get.

So the article says that the sunspots have reached 1000-year peak, but the NASA article says that sunspots are at the minimum right now (Solar Minimum). Which one is correct?

-can you sum up the business strategy on PS3 in 3-5 sentences?
-how are the business strategy being implemented? especially on the technical side (i.e. is Sony helping to overcome difficulties in developing games for cell?), marketing side (weird ads, and boy, the terrible damage controls)

these questions came up because many things done for the PS3 seem to have been reactionary. The last minute addition of accelerometer to the control, the shape change of the control pad, the "Home" concept to XBLA and Miis to name a few.

To ensure to maximum certainty that a soldier had fallen instead of just losing limbs, there's no better place to put the RFID tag but on the forehead.

and also, since we have criminals and soldiers tagged, why not tag everyone else that are prone to 'potentially disfiguring accidents"? Included in that would be people who rides in cars, public transportation (air, land, water).

I'm trying so hard not to relate this to revelation.

adding to parent thread pla's comment,

aside from knowing my ability to fulfill the requirement of the task on time, I also need another factor to set in to be able to start and perform what I need to do: the sense of URGENCY.

In college, at night before an exam (quiz, midt, or even final) I would not, or could not, study until early AM. My typical night-before-exam is chill/hangout with friends, then jay leno, then o'brien, then maybe some other shows after that. By this time I'd probably be hungry and fix myself some ramen.

Then I'd sit by the desk and start reading. The reading won't take long due to distraction of what's on the computer, maybe check out ebay items, check out who's online on IM, play songs, etc.
Finally, the brain is most ready for academic input at around 3 to 5 hours prior to exam. By then, even skimming the pages would still result in good grades.

Therefore, I think procrastination is just a phase to build an incentive for the self. For others maybe it's to wait for all necessary info to set in before starting the task, for me it's the sense of urgency.

But yesterday I decided to make a go for it after testing FF2 on other PC since RC1. I dled 2.0 and to my surprise, most extensions and themes already have updates available. That includes CloneWindow by Pikey, which I considered key feature that I needed when I jumped from IE years ago.
Also, I found out ways to disable things I didn't want, namely the close tab buttons, which I changed to 1.5 style.

On usage, loading the program felt faster, although loading some websites felt a little slower compared to 1.5..

all in all, I think the upgrade to 2.0 is worthwhile, if you take the time to tailor it to your wants n needs.
