China's rapid growth in the technology world and becomming a very modernized fast moving country would make me think that it would be relatively cheap for a computer like that to be ~$500.

I think Google did start out as a open search engine, just now that its going corparate.
Are there any completly open search engines out there with no censorship?
I held my upmost respect for Google and being a very loyal Googler.
This, if in fact was a self sensorship, my respect for that is going to go down very much, I would feel backstabbed by google. If its the govt, I wouldnt really have anything agaist Google.
Only thing I wouldnt like about this idea is storing the disks somewhere for a while, only to come and find it rotting (including data loss) but if there is something to help protect again, I am all for it.
I want a blue/green genetically engineered cat with more brain power. Plus improve their eating habits to eat once per day, and do their dirty work once a day.

The BEST Robotics competetions are rather simple, yet it teaches many things. I did it for the four years in high school. Good stuff. I went to the Texas Brazos Competetions yesterday, which the team I was mentoring won 1st place.

I am having a hard time imagining FreeDOS with the chinese character set, if thats what is used.
