Yeah, thats a good point. Not sure how good reactions are with a headmouse, but if you're interested in shooters such as Duck Hunt, but want something a little more complex, try House of the Dead 1, 2, and 3. Personally I think 2 was the best, with maybe the worst voice acting, too.
People want to quickly get first post while retaining their self respect. So they post a quick joke that they made up, that way they dont have to spend a decent amount of time thinking up an interesting or insightful reply.
Basically the projected holograph at a different angle (or viewed at different angle) shows a different holographic pattern (i.e., from the front, you can see the princess's face. But from behind, her arse).
Hey. What the heck. Slashdot does that all the time to me, I thought it was just some strange thing that happened to me... Whats the deal with this? How come it only happens sometimes?
Safety upgrades in nuclear power plants happen whenever somebody messes up, so that they don't mess up in the same way again. This upgrade is nothing surprising.
I prefer it when they perform a safety upgrade before someone messes up...
Um... did you read the article? It's not a piece of software. It doesn't allow you to download music. It infringes on copyrights about the same way your existing stereo might... ie. none.
I'm suprised I don't see any news about Sonos and their wireless music system. Uses a mesh network to wirelessly serve music from any networked device to any zone in your house. All controlled from either your PC or a wireless controller with full colour LCD. Certainly on my wish list... maybe we'll see a more complete round up of CES later.
The funny thing was, I got better speeds on Zfree than I get got on iHug (a large, non-free ISP)
After reading about the headmouse, this would be pretty awesome, especially with voice-activated clicking. Godlike, even.
Imagine it. You'd just look at the zombies, shout "BANG" or "DIE" and they would explode.

*grin* Bwahaha... anyone else see Thumb Wars?
That gives me a great idea of what to fill up my 1TB disk with, then!
How long before the xxAA guys shut this down as promoting piracy?
Uh.
I think that was Mr. Gates point. If you dump Microsoft and use everything else, you lose interoperability with Microsoft products.

Hey! You graciously admitted defeat! What kind of slashdotter are you!?
In Slashdot IRC, the server slashdots YOU!
Is it even possible for SCO to suck more?
Where there's a will...
Hahaha... no mod points to give but that's funny :) I'm sure other people will get the joke...
20% of your time doing creative projects? Sounds like most people would spend it drinking beer.
Well... since we're blackcatting here...
The electronics retailer I used to work at used Win3.11. And a year ago the local library upgraded - from an MS-DOS based system.

I understand that they're aren't too happy but Sonos is not infringing on any patents.
Um. I'm not sure how, but I believe they do.
I think Apple has patented the scroll wheel for "portable music storage devices" or something along those lines.
The remote doesn't store music, it just... we'll, it's a remote.
AFAIK, Sonos uses 128bit encryption.
I think the system is limited to 32 zone players. So as long as your dorm isn't too big...

I think his source was "Wives Tale, Old". Or was it "Myth, Urban"?
Thought that was because some white cop shot em?
