    Home preganancy tests are't scientifically valid either and can return false positives, as such they shouldn't be trusted... but that doesn't mean that pregnancy is a myth perpetuated by the cloning industry.

    I wouldn't give too much weight to your friend's opinion, considering neither of them attended Harvard.
    I believe what he meant to say was that they were possibly both memebers of the skull and cross bones at Yale.

    I just hope this isn't some form of self denial. "There is no way I can get HIV, or pass it on to my partners... therefore there is no reason to get tested." Complete disregard for the safety of others is almost criminal. I don't think these opinions are inherently evil to have. However, if people with that opinion are also participating in unprotected sex, and are unwilling to be tested, that is irresponsible to society.

    Well actually the government isn't that specific, some of the ways they sudgest you might contract it are: "gay ass fucking", beeing jabbed with a contaminated needle, heterosexual fucking, blood transfusions, coughing up blood into someone else's mouth, ambilical cord, infected blood in eyes and contact with feces/urine to infectable site.     And what is killing people who supposedly don't actually have aids? The better question is... let's just say they're dieing from a mystical force which isn't caused by a retrovirus. This mystical force is passed from one individual to another through body fluids... why don't we just call the mystical force HIV? Who cares if it is or isn't a virus. Who cares if our drugs are actually summoning 8th dimensional worm people who feed on our negative energy. The results are the same. HIV is infectious. Your life can be extended with drugs designed to treat it. If untreated, you will die*.

    *One or two exceptions on the planet.

    Your boss sounds like a cool enough guy. Explain to him how you feel. Who knows what little project he might be sitting on. If your boss knows two sticks from three he'll want to keep you happy/productive. A bored mind is energy wasted, If there is something that you could be doing which would better maximize your employment, they'll want you doing it.

    ... I was working 125 hour weeks to meet a deadline that was mandated upon me. Unfortunately the job was salaried so I was only getting payed for about 1/4 of that. It was entry level so it wasn't even payed well to begin with at the normal rate.

    Next project came along, they were really happy with my work and wanted me to take on more responsibility and larger projects. I layed down some new ground rules. Hourly pay and I got a x5 pay increase.

    If they're giving you more responsibility and work, then it's clear they're happy with what you were doing before. Ask for them to help your paycheck catch-up with their opinions of you.

    It wasn't a "I'm sure their business strategies will align in a logical balance" sort of post. It was intended as a humorous jab at them both becoming the same company. A becoming what you hate most sort of irony. They now both sell PCs. They both sell media devices and they're trying to expand their PC sales by offering complimentary devices. Apple = Dell. Apple just has a better brand name and a different stock OS.

    I don't think the government is going to go out and open a new "Bureau of Prank Call investigation." Most laws cost next to nothing, they just put in writing a precedent for you to be able to take someone to court on. Even *if* they did open a 100 million dollar organization inside the federal government to enact this law, it would still be cheaper than the cost of every American going out and fixing it with technology, THAT could easily add up to billions of dollars.
