  2. I'm on #3 on Xbox 360 Failure Rate Is 54.2% · · Score: 1

The previous 2 were replaced without cost to me. If this one dies and they don't fix it under warranty I'd buy another one. I have no interest in PS3 or the Wii and I have a lot invested in arcade games, rock band songs, etc. on the 360.

Umm how long do you think that artillery would last? There's 11 major large air force bases in SK including the US Osan base 45 miles South the DMZ and Kusan about 100 miles South. Seoul would take some damage but there's no way it would be destroyed. We have a large presence in SK we would not need to wait on any carriers to inflict massive air strikes on the DMZ area.

  10. Re:Farm Town on Social Networks As Gaming Platforms · · Score: 1

I'm playing Farmville too. There's very little social interaction on that one compared to Farm Town though. You can have neighbors but you can't see them or talk to them. There's no marketplace so you do all the harvesting yourself. Granted it's only been running for 5 days now. I'm just stockpiling cash right now for when they put new features in.

  11. Farm Town on Social Networks As Gaming Platforms · · Score: 1

A pretty addictive little social game that my wife got me playing this week. On a business trip and I have nothing better to do most of the time then farm haha. But the progamming of it is bad, really bad. It's like the developers have no common sense for a lot of the ways they do things in it. Games like that that let you create and socialize with friends and make new ones are the wave of the future for Facebook and Myspace.

  12. server and source control on How Do You Sync & Manage Your Home Directories? · · Score: 1

  14. Xbox 360 is fine for now on Ubisoft CEO Says Next Gen Consoles Closer Than We Think · · Score: 1

The hardware issues seem to be worked out now with the latest motherboards. Xbox Live is really maturing and branching out into family fun kind of games like 1 vs. 100. Participating in a live game show is more fun then I thought it would be. I couldn't be happier with it right now and it just keeps getting better. Natal, looks gimicky too me will be good for casual gamers like the Wii is and probably attract a good following that way if it's not too expensive.

  25. My take on it on Is a $72.5m Opening Weekend Enough For Star Trek? · · Score: 1

I thought it was good. I've seen probably seen every episode of both TOS and TNG and all the movies. My impression was that it was good but not great. My wife who's maybe seen a couple movies and probably none of the TV shows and my son who's just seen a few TV shows here and there both thought the movie was excellent. If it paves the way for a new TV show though I'm all for it. The Romulans must have had some serious resources and money to build those ridiculously huge, pointy spacecraft in the new movie hehe.
