    Their modified GCC is a *compilator*. That is NOT mentioned in you citation from GPL:

    "For an executable work, complete source code means all the source code for all modules it contains, plus any associated interface definition files, plus the scripts used to control compilation and installation of the executable."

    This GCC is not a "module it contains" and not "scripts used to control compilation". Or any other of the mentioned items.

    ..as You would with a morning paper, the tablet pc is for You.

    Even a small portable is awkward in the bed.

    The problem is that the tablets (or pcpads as I like to call them) is to high priced - after all, You don't have them as Your only pc. Some of them are also much too heavy.

    I want a tablet/pcpad based on standard components and will use it with e g VNC to my desktop for surfing in the morning and other tasks that don't require keyboard or use of advanced graphics.

    Yeah, show me the jails filled with political prisoners in America. Now go to China and say the government sucks.

    ANSWER: Guantanamo base. Etc.

    Show me the tanks that rolled over the anti-war protestors in San Francisco. I want to see the footage. I have video clips of the massacre at Tianeman square. I want to compare the two.

    ANSWER: The killings of student protesters in the 60's/70's. The killing and torturing of black people since the slave era into today.

    Show me the forced segregation camps in America. I want to compare it with the planned cities in China where you are required to work, but not allowed to live.

    ANSWER: Todays jailing whitout any information, any court order, any rights whatever in concentration camps in the name of "Terrorist" threat. The treatment of any people that may look or have a name that could be from Middle East.

    Show me the forced sterilizations in America because you're poor. I want to compare it with the Amnesty International reports of forced abortions and sterilizations in China.

    ANSWER: The using of innocent people in tests with radioactive contamination (plutonium etc.).

    Show me the prisons filled with Atheists or Muslims in America. I want to compare it with the prisons in china filled with Fulan Gong.

    ANSWER: Again se above. And not to mention the black people in jail that thought that they have the same rights as white people.

    It's really a shame there isn't a mod in slashdot for total idiot.

    The United States has provided the greatest freedom and prosperity of its people than any other nation or civilization in the history of the planet. If it isn't utopia, it's as close as you're going to get on this world.

    ANSWER: There is much I could say, but let's mention the laws that forbid people to live together whitout beeing married, that forbid people oral sex, that forbid people publish or talk about their science work etc.

    Get a dose of reality and understand that the culture and civilization embodied by the United States is the most morally superior culture and civilization in the history of the planet.

    ANSWER: Now I'm wondering if You rather are sarcastic that anything else !?

    Here You make an assumption: that using the "actual" ("production") serial numbers. Of course You use serials already used, say for a couple of years ago.

    I don't think that there are any practically way to trace these.

    Then destroy evidence of serial numbers and run !

    OK, the Governement etc, now know that there are illegally produced notes out there but they cannot do anything to identify them !

    Why can't You "relink" ?
    I'm working with mainframes (IBM) and here You never had to recompile any module just because a module has to be replaced. We just relink them.

    I can recommend MemTest from HCI Design (free):

    hcidesign.com/memtest

    It find errors not found by Memtest86 (which runs outside windows). (These were real errors, I had problems with memory that Memtest86 doesn't found).

    You had to let it run for some time though.
    (My experience is with ver 1.0, it's now at 1.2.)

    Because of the hurry You can't process/"adapt" etc the sound to very often inferior levels the usual CD-recording deps use to do.

    Because of all this it will often result in a more dynamic and unfiltrated music.

    When You are, like me, using several PCs (as for printer server, connecting peripherals that don't work with my latest/fastest machine etc.) and building them myself, I have both a space problem and cooling problem. A motherboard like this would fit in:

    Athlon-socket.
    1 AGP port (45+ degree bent socket to save space).
    2 PCI ports (45+ degree bent etc.).
    2 Ethernet 10/100 external ports in a builtin Switch (with 1 "virtual" EthAdapter/card accessible from the OS).
    2 (or more) DDR memory sockets.
    6 USB ports.
    4 IDE ports.

    All in a minimal format (much smaller than Micro-ATX).

    A variant could be as above but with:

    Ethernet Gigabit Switch.
    Only one PCI and builtin Video.
    (For "server" dutys.)

    And to that PSUs half the size as now.

    I have a dream..

    The question then is which is more important: the free expression of Your thoughts about the government or the undisturbed reign of Your leaders. Everyone's likely to have their own opinion on the matter, and the issue is better left to the courts than Slashdot.

    Freedom of speech is not much worth if You can't talk without punishment (to the end, with death). If I don't remember it wrong, there were in Soviet laws (constituition ?), during Stalin's regime, words of "free speech".
    That was, in practice, not very much of "Freedom of speech" during these Years...

    What You get with anonymus speech is opinions not liked by the majority or these with power. Thats really a good thing, that way You get opinions/thoughts that else would never appeared. Think of the Hitler regime, Pol Pot, the mafia, etc.

    Rice is a staple food in these countries. Therefore you can't have high levels of any vitamins (if you wan't to be on the safe side). The point is also that other forms of food (with high leves of vitamins) is not availible for the poor people in these countries and you don't need high levels of vitamins to prohibit diseases caused by missing vitamins.
