I would say kids are aware of their existence earlier than that, hell I could talk by 10 months. But even before kids can talk they are plainly aware of their surroundings. It was not the parents intention to say that you could go round killing newborn kids, but you obviously just wanted to do some flaming.
Oooh! Photorealistic graphics! That makes the game much more fun!!! Seriously do you know what you're talking about? You do? In that case I'll stop playing games and stare at the wall, it may be boring, BUT LOOK HOW REALISTIC IT IS!!
Last year I seem to remember a story about a local man (I live in thames valley, UK) being convicted of breaking the law as he was importing ps2 modchips. At least I think thats how it went
Engine noise is terrible for anyone under the flight path. I live a few miles from heathrow and the concorde used to fly over my house every day - I can assure you engine noise was a problem.
I wasn't denying that, I was questioning the fact that the £80 price point seems a bit much for the target market

yes but you can buy an older phone for much less than £80 with a basic interface - and they're usually more reliable too - I was questioning why I would pay £80 when something that does the same thing can be had for far less -
For £80, why bother? You can get phones with features for this price. Maybe if it was cheaper, then I would buy one, but what's the point of just stripping all the features away then charging essentially the same amount?
I'm not american, but I feel compelled to point out that the kyoto treaty was in the clinton era, and he was the one who refused to sign it (not that bush would either)
I saw something pretty similar at the University of Reading in February. The person demonstrating it was able to move around and interact with the scenery - by no means finished but looked as if it could develop into something quite impressive - they even mentioned having mutiple users via the internet as a future possibility.
My Girlfriend I were able to communicate in crystal clear sound for free!
Pity there was a 5 minute lag between either of us saying something and the other recieving it though

I can't stand the american-esque way of revealing half of the ENTIRE plot of the next episode at the end of each one! At least we don't have commercial breaks, so theres no 5 minute segment telling you EVERYTHING thats going to happen after the commercial! (okay, I know most programs arent really like that over there, but the reality ones are full of it, and it is just dire).

If we waited till ships were 100% safe everyone would have stayed at home and we would never have discovered anything new
she probably just listens to 'queen'

I've never seen any ghosting on my LCD, maybe it's just me...
IIRC didn't doom 3 require windows 2000 and up or something? I could be wrong. Mind you, is Doom 3 a 'game you want to play' ;)
my point exactly, but I was modded redundant for saying it

The BBC has no advertising

IIRC A few years ago the system was changed so that if you were applying for a new UK passport you couldn't have your children recorded on it
worked for me too on british telecom, but when I hit refresh it gave me the access denied message
