    Been there and added that. At age 38 weight was 225 lbs and 18 % body fat. That does not fit correctly in a BMI chart for 5' 9". 30 years later same weight except my chest and waist sizes have almost swapped positions. I guess I most have chosen my grandparents wisely cuz I have lived beyond the statistical life expectancy the the BMI index reports as 32 with that height and wieght. My uncle Jim was almost the same as I am. .Would he have lived to be 100 instead of 87 if he was 70 lbs lighter ?

    I have worked in US Uncivil service system. If you wonder how a unqualified person got selected over a qualified one. The evidence is in the SF 86. Now the only use data based on certanty is the SSN is true. Yes there are many Chinese working in R & D for the .govs, maybe the mother China was just looking for her prodigal children

    That would work in my house. My old lady is not going to take the time to learn how to change the temp whenever she feels too cold or too warm. Menopause,, married men often go through it. If she is to cold you get too warm. If she is warm you get too cold. I traded mine in for a newer younger model, so I have been there twice.

    They probably want to network them. Instead of sending someone to the locations to change or review the settings remote control it. This the age of instant gratification. That probably means they have to change HVAC too. The schools will probably save 80 hours a year in labor and travel time per year, maybe. Got to remember you are dealing with academia here, so do not expect things to make common sense. Most likely some persons brother in law will get a cost plus contract to "fix" the issue.

    My old '61 Pontiac Star Chief was EMP proof. carberator, gernerator, hydrmatic trans and AM radio. Nothing solid solid state in it. All good till you run out of gas.

    Sold my 960T because my buds Dell dual core AMD AM2 box could not do it any moe. I put it in a giga lmt78- USB 3 with 8 Gb of old ram. along with a EVGA 500 watt power supply that has been in use for I don't how long. Reused his DVD/CD burner & SATA hard drive with a fresh install of Ubuntu 15. Then put all that in a old case that had a p4 in it, for $200 The old lady was kinda concerned because that was her box. But just moved the her Linux HD into the my old air cooled 8350 - GTX 690 and she stopped complaining. My primary is a 9590 with crossfired R9 285s game box

    I guess electricity and electronics has changed since 1972, it usta be P = V x A, OK,, with AC not so simple. So is it the capacitive or inductive loading that solar overloads the circuits with ? So when it is 9xF / 4xC and it is daytime and my panels are producing enough current to run my AC unit, I think it may be the money circuits are overloaded, and the CEOs & stockholders are blowing a fuse.

    I play games so I use a 8 core and dual video cards. The olde lady does Fakebook and email. A 8 year 4 core CPU and GPU does that for her the only change I did was use a SSD. Just for snicks I slowed a AMD 955 down to 1.8 Ghz and dropped Vcore down to see what power was needed. Would you believe 25 watts ? The onboard mobo video was using more power than the CPU, lol. This was before win 7 or 8. I don't believe it could run win7 or 8 very well. XP and Linux worked OK. I know where talking portable here. But it was running a 1080 monitor and could do general office software apps with reasonable speeds. Wake me up when 64 bit 3.0 ghz with 10 watts train TDP gets here please.

    I don't know if petroleum coke is still used for home heating in Seoul. The last time I was there in the winter I could smell the burnt sulfur in the air. petcoke is not used in the US because it exceeds to SO2 emissions standard, but you can make steel with it. Funny thing is SO2 is supposed to block sunlight. Probably would not want to do that in the winter? I say the carbon emission responsible for global warming comes from all the forests that have been cut or burned down n the last 600 years. But I am not allowed to finger this out because I don't have PhD.

    CNC = millions of dollars and can produce a viable firearm that can spit out thousands of bullets without blowing up in your hand or face. 3D print = less that a thousand and the firearm is proportionally reliable. A congressman told me this once: Laws are deemed to be for this or that. It is all just smoke and mirrors for the real purpose. Really I can make a zip gun for a lot less than that and shoot 12 gauge shells for less than $20 and is not likely to explode in my hand. I could make one out of plastic that would shoot a .22 .25 or 9mm round and not blow up my hand.. I could find all the materials I need at your local Acme hardware store.

    I have found it hard to respect those who make rules that they have no intention in following. I have been very dangerous to those who don't. I have gotten them fired and have had money taken away from them. Some went jail. But that was part of my military job. As for Snowden he was more of a embarrassment to the US .govs than discloser of secrets. Would say all non-US govs already knew or had figured out what was released. A lot of those "classified" docs were classified to keep the ordinary U.S. citizen clueless. I have pursued those who caused real physical injury and/or career injuries with vigor. I was still there long after there rank and privilege was taken from them. I was not one of those who's main goals were rank, power and money. Some flag rank enjoyed my company and others stayed as far away as possible.
