I initially bought my 12" iBook G3 to install Linux on it. I chose for the iBook because of the size/battery life/price. It was going to be my first mac, I didn't even work with one before.
After all, I did install Linux on it (YDL), but I didn't use it for longer than an hour! Before that time I used Linux as the OS on my PC. It's just because the sharm of OS X I didn't use it.
Now, 1,5 years later, I bought a Mac mini and I'm not planning to install Linux on it... I'm totally OS X'ed.
Plus add the fact that important stuff like Airport Extreme won't work.

... I don't think it's a bad thing to overclock the 1,25 GHz. to 1,42 GHz., because the same case also holds the official 1,42 GHz. Technically speaking that is.
One big thing is that you are just throwing away your warranty, and I don't think that's worth the 170 MHz...
I think a process is called 'complex' when it's got a huge 'wow!' factor for a certain group of people, or maybe something that can be used in many different concepts but hasn't been used at all in history...
Oh yeah. Here in Europe the price of a song on iTMS is 0,99, so that's about USD $1,31 US or $1,67 CDN! That's globally 33% and 66% higher, respectively.
Just like the loads of undercover Apple marketing at Slashdot ;-)
:-)
Seems like they've entered the world of the corrupt...
Well, I'm just kidding, we all like this stuff, right?
Sure, but when your friend has arrived at your place his battery ran out, because it only lasts for 2 hours...
I like the experiment, by the way.
...so you compare a Xbox360 directly to an Apple computer? Sure, they have the PowerPC CPU in common...
It constantly is...

Just a small speed bump. And no dual core G5 yet unfortunally.
Why no Mac/Linux client?
The interface shown looks very Aqua-ish.
Just scratch it off with a cube of sugar. Good old trick works always.
Why under an Apple heading?
CherryOS claims to be an OS X emulator for the PC platform.
