Personally, if I were the owner, I'd take out the google part as google ads are the most unbstrusive ads that I've ever seen.
Honestly I'd hate to see Ubuntu put time and efforts into a graphics installer. It just takes up a bit more room and honestly, that installer it has now is dead easy. I installed it with no problems and that's saying something considering that I consider myself a linux newbie.
Honestly, I'm wondering how the CD will be like. Will they include an option for you to have the ability to update the content at your setting? Or will it be so that you have to buy a new version everytime? I'm thinking that they will include an option to update but you can also buy newer versions so that you don't have to spend time updating (I hope)
nothing to see here, move along;) It's probably time for all of this nonsense to end to time to move onto some real news. Meanwhile, here is a good list of sites pulling a few pranks. Via
I believe it is important to note that no flaming should be directed against Matt (founder of Wordpress). Afterall, all this was done so that it would improve the Wordpress project. Here is a good response to all this. Spam is spam, but there is a new side to all this.
I honestly don't mean to be a troll here but here is my word on Opera:
Honestly, after using Opera for a year (7 months with ads) I can say that after a week's worth of use, I hardly ever notice the ads (And almost any user will agree to this). With a minimalistic theme and things minimized and all, it is almost like as if it doesn't matter that ad is there. After buying Opera, I can be certain and say that, the $39 I spent on Opera was the best money I ever spent on a computer software.
Well what about the Walton family? (Owner of Walmart and Sam's Club) The family's worth combined could overtake Gate's wealth. And when was the last time you heard ofo the Walton family contribute a great amount? And don't forget that Gates just made a huge contribution recently of some 750 million?
And mirrordot didn't pick it up
Here is a google cache:

Well if you put it like that, it is also bringing in security into the comparison. And we don't need a long report to tell us that Firefox is more secure than IE.

TopoFusion: It is much more powerful than Keyhole and here is a good writeup talking about both of them.
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://slashdot.org has some of the older versions of slashdot, so that should give you a glimpse of the history of slashdot I suppose
Here you can learn a bit of the history of slashdot. Also, you can browse through some of the older slashdot posts http://slashdot.org">Here
