I'm thinking PHP probably with MySQL makes up for the largest part of it. Other web developing apps too. And maybe they write some scripts or modules for Apache and that counts as developing or maybe just using Apache to run scripts/programs and consider that as "developing". GCC (like Mingw) might also be used a lot.
One very important point: US "allowed" others to use "their" internet (at the later stages) largely because they needed to do business with those countries, not out of charity. And the US still *needs* these other countries to use the Internet for the same *business* reasons. And the other countries need the US to use the Internet too. So in such a situation of inter-dependencies, it would be incredibly pretentious of people to say that it's their Internet and they'll keep it, as if they're being altruistic in "letting" others use the Internet. And the US government also needs to allow more involvement of other countries when their own companies are doing business with these countries.
Other than rhetoric your argument is hollow. You talk as if we're still living in caves and have to hunt for survival. And you take everything into absolutes - you almost say that a cave man killing a lamb on a cold night for food and a teenager killing a puppy for amusement is equal. Almost. What happened to being reasonable - kill them if you absolutely cannot survive without them, or else don't? And quit with the personal jabs - I'm not saying non-vegetarians are monsters or anything.
It's out of care/compassion/concern for animals. My argument precludes that, given a suitable alternative without a diminished value, stopping eating meat is the right and logical thing to do. Basically it means that we shouldn't go around killing animals without any reason, just because we can (I'm not saying that's what's happening now, read what I said again). Any sane person would say the same. Don't act dumb, dude.
I'll take the word of the people at the University of Waltham over yours any day. People need to stop acting like they know better than the experts. It's "the expert is not always right", not "the expert is always wrong". Criticism of the "experts" once in a while is not wrong. But every time I see a science article on slashdot, everyone is trying to say, one way or the other, that the article and the scientist/experts are wrong. Quit trying to make yourself look good so desperately.
In spite of all this, eating animals is still right. Right? Especially after evolution (being that most people use "survival of the fittest" to justify eating animals) has given us excellent brains, using which we can survive and flourish without eating animals. And also after we have scientifically advanced from our meat-eating ancestors - enough to stay healthy without meat.
What is the National Arbitration Forum and does it have any legal power? It seems like an American organisation - how are they going to enforce it on a Russian man? Are they going to make the owner of the.com TLD to enforce it? That wouldn't be fair - it would mean US government/organisation has too much power on the net and others don't.
How the fuck is tearing down a mosque or any building (without people inside) "terrorism"? When the fuck was the definition of "terrorism" changed to "anything you don't approve"?
I noticed a different reaction to jokes about 9/11, especially during the first few days after it. Jokes seem to be accepted more when the even hasn't happened in US - some jokes acceptable when it happens in England and even more jokes acceptable when it happens in south-east Asia.
Yeah, that's right, let's keep making politically correct statements that the citizens of US and UK have no responsibility over their countries' actions and that the terrorists are killing "innocent" civilians. You people keep invading everyone and killing everyone like bullies and you expect others to feel sympathy for you when about 40 of your people die? Don't play the "innocent civilians are dead, so let's not talk politics" card. If you really believe in that, then you should've shut the fuck up during the entire Iraq war - the lives of "innocent" Iraqi civilians is worth just as much as the lives of Americans or Brits. I'm sure more than 40 Iraqi civilians are dead. But every time I see a report about American troops "accidentally" killing them, all I see are people defending the troops or some other political shit - not even one man offers his condolences for the dead people. You kill them and they kill you in return - you have armies to do that, they have to do it through organisation like Al-Qaeda. As simple as that.
Yeah, the people who did this are "terrorists", but the people who did something similar two days ago here in India are "militants" according to BBC and CNN, and the ones who kill innocent civilians every day in Kashmir are merely "separatists". And let's not even get started on what's happening in Russia. You people seem incredibly hypocritical when you talk about "deaths of innocent people".
Dude, you make the unfunniest comments ever. If you came near my house, I'd beat you up and have sex with your wife - out of spite. Maybe with your mom too.
Isn't this nice? When asians pirate American stuff, it's stealing, but when Americans pirate Asian stuff, they're just helping the owners of that stuff.
For the ones who claim that this is no different than other religions: Jedi is officially and acknowledgedly fiction - George Lucas (or whoever created it) claims that it is fiction - NOT TRUE. Other religions themselves don't claim that they're false - Jesus Christ, Profet Mohammed or Buddha didn't say that what they said was false. Get a clue dumbasses, the retards who are following Jedi religion are following something which was created solely for the purpose of entertainment. People who follow religions are (according to just my opinion of course) dumb or misled; people who follow Jedi religion are dipshit dumbass retards. And no, star wars wasn't *that* good.
I was talking about the lab tests, jackass, not the practical uses of this. Read this sentence and again and try to think what it implies to your post and my grandparent's post. Idiot.
RTFA, will you? What they did was kill the dogs by replacing their blood with a salt solution and then bring them back to life by putting the blood back in and giving them an electric shock. And in human testing they are going to test on alive humans by killing them and bringing them back to life. No one is bringing dead people back to life. There is still a long long way to go before we can do that.
Yeah, the Inquirer should've spouted marketspeak like pussies instead. We all know that spouting marketspeak like pussies is true journalism.

You're just an American who's pissed that a non-American organisation is doing this. Most of the other people making negative comments here are too.

I don't think a lot of people will understand your point.

EXACTLY. It's like saying that the fact that Pol Pot did all that shit and yet survived for so many years justifies me going around killing people.

You don't have to do all that on Windows. It just works. You don't have to read forums and starter guides.
So Apple users *are* that dumb?

Yeah, and your mom is covered with holes in certain areas of her body. Doesn't mean those holes happened after her birth due to impact.
Everyone is a fucking philosopher now. Can I lick your balls, Aristotle?
