I use my 55inch 4k TV as a monitor. It's great for playing steam games with friends using a Xbox 360 controller. I refuse to pay 60$ a year for the "privilege" of multiplayer on PS4/Xbox One so when I play anything multiplayer it's on Steam. When I use a wireless mouse and keyboard it's a little painful with lag but it's manageable. Since I only use Windows for Windows-only things, it's the only computer that has Windows installed.
When I want to do real work, I have a Linux laptop.
I use about half that now every month. I use Netflix and MLB.tv daily, among other things. I see this as future-proofing for when 4K becomes the standard.
I stated out with OpenBSD in 2001, switched to Fedora in 2005 and recently (in the past few weeks) moved over to FreeBSD . I love how 'clean' the system feels compared to Linux Distros. I'm not for or against systemd (I couldn't care less) but I do like the way BSDs do things...
Actually, no. My Sony 4K TV has Android built-in. I normally watch YouTube videos in their highest available qualities. So if this thing works out with content providers then I could potentially be watching television in a higher quality format than what Comcast gives me now.
Though, to be honest, I rarely watch TV anymore. I only have it as it was a cheaper deal than just getting internet alone.
I'd buy an island off the coast of Italy. I'd find someone willing to spend all my money (which shouldn't be too hard) and I'd use a couple million to create a venture capitalist corporation. I'd hire people to run the day-to-day operations and live on my island away from the world.
If there's any money left, I'd buy a professional sports team.
I have a 2013 Ford Fusion with Sync and MyFord Touch. I've honestly not found much issue with it, but that doesn't mean I haven't found any issues. I actually like Sync over what GM and Nissan have for UI but the touchscreen is, admittedly, crap.
The only feature I have but can't use is the speak-to-text feature; I assume that's a Windows Phone only feature. I also don't like how the vehicle reports in maintenance checks. Instead of using my phone's internet capability it makes a phonecall instead.
Yes, but I'm thinking more of USPTO process in this case. The patent can still be granted unless someone files a petition citing prior art. After that it may be invalidated based on Bitcoin existing, but my point it that it's still possible that the bank can receive this patent.
The interesting thing is that many newspapers are owner by a larger newspaper. The Boston Globe is/was owned by the NYT, The LA Times is owned by the Chicago Tribune, etc. I think what's missing is a form of brand cohesion, as in naming all newspapers in a family one central name and having a dedicated website for all.

How many light are there? Does this mean Gul Madred was a futuristic neurologist?
I wonder how Netflix is doing this. More importantly, I hope they're not sharing this technology with countries like Iran or China.

I wish I had mod points...
The Fallout series had it right?

When will they get this in screwdriver form?
I have Project Fi....... I like it, but it doesn't match the quality and speed of Verizon. Be prepared!
The only thing missing from Netflix is live sports. Once I (hopefully) can watch Baseball and Football on Netflix I'll get rid of UVerse.

I loved these....haven't forgotten about them or 3dfx. Too bad they couldn't get their tech together.
Once you decide to "retire", who/what would you like to see continue the development and guidance of the kernel?
We all know that Duke sucks, but would you please elaborate?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... The U stands for UDP.
With all those patents and that price tag, why doesn't Google buy them and merge that stuff into Android?

Other then that, I have no problem with it.
Well, he did release a 3.11 kernel update.....so there hope!
I want to give you all the points.

The US moved to a first to file system recently: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_to_file_and_first_to_invent#The_USA.27s_change_to_first-inventor-to-file_.28FITF.29 So this might get approved regardless.
Incredible, that's the combination to my luggage!
