I too call them back and forth (I was a dos (directory) then windows(folder) now unix(directory)). But most people don't care what you call them even on KDE 3.4 they call them folders. I prefer directory personaly.
Yes trend's scanner is much faster and just as accurate (if not more!).It's all i'll use on my windows box. A very drastic but money and time saving move, switch your OS!
if that is true will it make dd, a standard linux tool that can be used to raw rip a disc image into a file illegal? It can be used to copy safedisc cd's.
I've made a simple descision. DON'T DOWNLOAD ILLEGAL CONTENT but (more importantly) DON'T PAY either. creative commons and many other places have free music. Also you can always use internet radio such as shoutcast or mercora.
I read mine over and discovered... They don't recommend it for security reasons but nothing else. Besides it's not like they can stop you anyways. I mean are they gonna charge you $5 for every open port?
If you happen to be using the ever-so-popular linksys WRT54G you may consider trying one of many custom firmwares like dd-wrt or openwrt. These can give you SSH and telnet access (from inside your lan) and then you can customize the firewall yourself. Other wise give ipcop a wing.
Look at all the great programs that the "oh, look, it's leaked on the Internet"-approach made more popular: AutoCAD Doom 3 Halflife 2 Windows Tribes etc...
I find adobe acrobat 7 loads quite fast on linux, much faster then the old 5.

They had a bill like this before saying we couldn't download anything illegal... It failed in the house of commons... SUCK IT!
premium content with a screen capture program running it will play anyways.

Microsoft doesn't notice that the reason most people use filesharing software is to obtain illegal software
