    It's also pretty cheap to buy a 2-way speaker cable from radio shack and shove one end into a cheap tape recorder, then do it in reverse with line in. oggenc or lame the result and tada, no more DRM-loving formats :)

    Of course, we have regained this power through the use of reverse engineering. Anyone grab a recent copy of IDA Pro, you can disassemble almost anything, unfortunately, it is closed source.

    How is downloading a file filled with zeros or random bytes breaking the law, even if it has the same file name as a valid release? Total Bullshit, if anyone gets prosecuted this way, they should be easily able to get out. I'm just glad I live in Canada :)

    Yeah, I mean, if my ISP throttled my bittorrent traffic, I'd switch to a much smaller one that was going to provide me some real service. They already rip me off by giving me half the bandwidth in total!

    I prefer to bring PHLAK or Knoppix STD and use filesnarf dsniff msgsnarf and arpspoof to present them with all the files passwords and messages that go around the network.
