I honestly wouldn't mind forking over 70-80$ for two different tiers of internet.
I would love a 'walled garden' that provided high quality, day of broadcast TV shows and an instant queue style movie service. I honestly think that they could probably provide superior quality service given a set amount of highly controlled content. That said, I would never abandon my connection to an unfettered internet connection. If they ever were to erode net neutrality to the point where internet is offered piecemeal like cable TV, I would laugh as they failed.
How is this not relevant? Both are (possibly) inherited 'conditions' that help to make up who we are. And if being gay is inherited, it is likely to be curable just like colour-blindness appears to be now. Honestly, as a young gay guy, a cure for homosexuality would definitely catch my eye. Never having to second guess whether or not a possible mate is interested in my gender sounds highly appealing. In my case its not just homophobia, as I have been lucky enough to avoid a lot of that.
In my experience, embedding video such as mpeg never works as fluidly or easily as.flv flash video. This is usually because of poor software (such as totem player on linux) or incompatibilities between the browser and the software decoding the video.
I buy mp3s, cds, and records. Just depends on what i'm looking for.
I usually buy mp3s from artists I am not really sure about, but still want to check out, as its almost universally cheaper.
I buy cds because they have no DRM (although, with Amazon's service, I will probably buy more mp3s), the physical object is unlikely to be destroyed by hard drive failure, and its simply nice to have a physical object, including liner notes and such.
I buy records for all the reasons I buy cds, but generally only when they have a code to download the album in mp3. Its somewhat meditative to pick up the album, inspect the cover and the vinyl, place it on the platter, cue it up, and listen. Somewhat similar to using a medium format film camera compared to 35mm or digital. I don't really think they sound better (and they obviously do degrade over time) but its nice to have something that I know I'll keep for a long time. Collectors item, really.

However, your main point is correct. Wikipedia is not a reliable source, and should not be used as a main source. Or a secondary source.
I don't think it would matter that much. Many consumer electronics now have hard drives, which are turned on and off many, many times a day and they can last for years. I don't see why they wouldn't on a computer.
Hey, the computer does alot more than it did ten years ago. More than that, people do different things with it.
We must come up with a new name for the computer!!
Thats mostly software side, and has nothing to do with the hardware. Essentially you could have said 'XBox Live is innovative' (which it is). Hardware wise, there is very little innovation with the xbox 360 at all. Both Nintendo and Sony are doing SOMETHING different.
"I'm so damn tired of this crap... people need to take responsibility for their lives..." Yes.
"30 Million People live on minimum wage because they are too lazy to do anything else." No.
"Seriously... anyone over the age of 18 that is still making minimum wage has made a conscious decision to just sit on their asses." Sorry, wrong.
"I don't think there should be _any_ minimum wage at all..." Okay. In a world where employers actually care about their employee's welfare and health, yes. But you're still wrong.
"If the work and pay suck then people will try to do better..." Who does their jobs then?
I think it is very possible that there is a bias - the PSP is sleek, stylish, and powerful, whereas the DS is kinda clunky and has mediocre graphics.
What I expect out of the PSP: A stream of good games through out the systems' life time.
What I expect out of the DS: Many so-so titles outshined by highly inovative first person titles. (Just none of these have come out yet 0.o).
Yeah... it was like in 94 way before it actually came out. Obiously that wasn't their marketing campeign (sp), but they said something along the lines of "We will be featuring a new product with graphics that will look like movies!!" Little did they know that the 32 bit PSone could pump out things like FF9 that put the N64 to shame...

It was named for the senator who wrote it, not the U2 singer.
Unfortunatly, I must disagree.
I am a 'kid' (17 years old) and nearly 100% of my friends listen to the beatles. Take a look a the last.fm charts.
Fleetwood Mac, while not nearly as popular, is still listened to.

Who would want to run 3rd party apps on http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=315th is?
People have said it before, and I'll say it again: PS3 = Toy. iPhone = Potential tool.
Because Counter-Strike is the 'latest video game'.
Zing!
That's what you get for making us wait for Doctor Who...

They're not saying that its right to infringe copyrights. They're saying that its wrong to ruin peoples lives because of it.
Since the first three are tied for first, it could be argued they are tied for second...

He has found something he loves. Mayhaps he should do the above things, but if he loves video games, why shouldn't he play the rest?
It didn't have online play at all out of the gate.

Its not a law to deter criminals. It is a law to find/prosecute them.
Good thing he said nothing about copyrights being capitalistic, or else he would have just gotten owned.
Thats part of the point. The study is meant to connect modern culture and myth, not modern television shows and the made up myth that comes with them.

that blizzard is updating starcraft. Its the number one game in Korea and there are two 24/7 starcraft stations there. I mean seriously!
