    You can enter if you are a student, no matter the major. You can't enter if your under 18 though.

    P.S. Changing Ram or putting in a new harddisk is mostly a fear issue, not a knowledge issue.

    And since keyboard loggers cant detect mouse movements, you could actually find the letters and copy and paste them into the field. That would even confuse some software-level loggers.

    I have seen cell phones do weird things to the electronics though. Like for example, a ring on someone's cell phone came through on our headsets in the cockpit (small plane).

    I was actually thinking of using a pure file compression like bzip, gzip or rar. It would take a while for a dvd to load if you did it this way, but it will give a fairly large boost to space, its not necessary, but if hard drive space is a problem, it might be good to do especially for less frequently watched movies.

    If I were you, Id rip the dvd to an ISO file, then compress. When A movie is requested, just decompress, and mount the ISO. Then it would be no different than having the DVD in a drive.
    Of course Id either find or write an Application that could add DVDs, and then play them.

    If mono really does have a preformance problem, use the money you'll save on the server software (start with a free distro) to buy a slightly faster server to make up the difference.

    Good luck hating reading ruby. Ruby is great to read, and has some very interesting things, but In some places, its lacking.

    I sent an email to my admins, explaining that I knew of a vulnerability that could get my Local System on any machine in the network, and then possibly use other exploits that I haven't thought of to get as high as Domain Admin.

    This scared them pretty bad. I had a meeting with them, and had Local system after 5 minutes (took me longer cuz they put scsi drives in the computers). They took me seriously after this, and are working with me to make the labs more secure.

    I think you might have missed the point. Even her just clicking on a link could using mozilla vs Internet Explorer, could make a difference. If I was a former IE-only web designer, having 10+%(For some sites this is true) of my traffic coming from browsers other than IE might be a wake-up call.

    See, your mom just helped spread open standards - an important piece of the open source picture.

    Why is the 10 year old necessarily going to equate to a young adult. Sometimes a fresh view on the world, and asking the right "whys" (instead of mindlessly saying "its always been done that way") allows for much better debating. I hate when even anti-ageists, are also ageist

    Is arguing with a 17 necessarily a waste of time?

    And does open-mindedness increase with age?

    Both of these are rhetorical questions. The point being that the most people get less open-minded as they get older, and that its quite possible that a 12 year old could be one of the best possible debate partners while your supposed 40-year (guessing here) would be the worst.
