Snooping in on wireless is easier, (IMHO) than wired. You can sniff traffic easily if you're on the same hub/switch, but outside of that it gets more difficult.

Wireless, can be hacked, and with a crappy can-tenna and a recycled sat dish you can get a really far range on the cheap.

  19. Re:Uhh, yes it does... on The Slippery Legal Slope of Cartoon Porn · · Score: 1

This whole thing is kind of retarded. Why is it not ok to portray child porn through animation/cartoons?

I don't support child porn, but why doesn't anybody complain about all the death in movies. Killing people is worse than child porn, but for some reason we idolize killing through movies.

    So that makes it ok?

  23. I'm curious about wording? on An Ethical Question Regarding Ebooks · · Score: 1

the MPAA and RIAA and the other likes always complain about losing money to piracy. But, is this the right wording or is this a play on words?

For example. I download an album, which I would never consider buying. They claim they lost money. But, it's not like they had my 15$ and I took it back. How can you "lose" what you don't have?

And, how much did they really think? I mean, look at the recent case with the RIAA where the lady was ordered to pay ~220,000$ for downloading 24 songs?

Two albums = ~30$. I'm confused about the whole thing. But it really just seems of misusing words to get people on their side.
